Thank you for this information! I like the fluffy look. My hair looks too thin when it’s twisted while wet. It takes weeks for my hair to start looking full. I’ll have my Loctician try this next time.
Looks great. Now this shows knowledge and skill cause let me tell you as someone w very fine lower density hair, most "professionals" I've met only know how to style high density hair. They only know how to give a ponytail, high pony, low pony, side pony.. I'm all ponied out! I'll try this technique 👍🏼
Thank you. I never thought of thiis for my hair. I have fine strands and 4/A 4/B hair. Im also going to try and just finger part instead al having uniform parts like i normally do
@@SuchANaturalthanks so much for this, I have fine hair that looks thick but when I get twists and plaits it comes out thin. So you recommend to let my hair air dry and not to use that Jam gel? It looks like you didn’t use any products on her hair to get it to be more puffy, fluffy, full, and kinky looking? Are you in the FT Lauderdale Fl area?
@@briceh1001 I always use products to twist/do any style. Yes done on air dried hair. No jam gel or anything heavy. A light twisting cream will suffice. In metro Detroit.
About how many inches of hair would you say this client has? What would you say would be the minimum inches of hair you need to have decent looking two strands twists?
I have wanted two strand twists on my fine, thin hair and was afraid that it would look a mess. So glad I saw this video!! My question is did she come with her hair air dried or you washed it and then used a blow dryer? I just want to be able to communicate it correctly when I ask for this style. Thanks so much!!
All clients get washed. Even if your stylist don’t wash and you go in air dried request you can get similar effect from air dried hair just no heat dried hair
Natural hair curls. Any product can enhance that so it’s nothing that can stop curly hair from curling. However if you are intending on having a more uniform look like twists in this video and you have a looser curl pattern it is best to do your twists on air dried hair so it retains the volume. Also be light with product per section because it doesn’t take that much anyway☺️
@@unbeweaveable2 you couldn’t find this tutorial!? th-cam.com/video/N-13iEmWO5o/w-d-xo.htmlsi=LMg9F3Q8UisJYDBO Far as product yes you need a cream to twist with. Use your cream of choice that you think works best.

I mean using the air from the blow dryer to fluff the hair. No comb attachment no brush. Just basically helping the hair air dry, using the blow dryer. @@aSisterWithLocs but if you have locs it kind of has to be done on damp hair. This is a set of two strand twists just worn as a style and taken down after a few weeks. If you too are a loose natural and just happen to go to a natural hair stylist that also does locs i get what you were trying to say but if not i wanted to clarify ☺️
You do have to live with it but it doesn’t have to not look good. That’s what videos like this prove. I really wish everyone could experience this. Perhaps you’ll one day find someone who could help you achieve this or something close
That’s not significant at all. People have become obsessed with the number of twists or locs they have. Doesn’t change anything except with locs, if you get too many. Yes there’s a such thing as too many or too small locs. Just like there’s a such thing as too big locs. All depends on what your texture/density can handle. That and amount intersect but the only valid part is the size. As far as client above they’re just getting a style and not using twists as a starter loc base. Which makes amount even more irrelevant because they’re taking it down in roughly a month. My client and i goal is to have a full/pretty head of twists because that’s all that matters. “Full” is gonna look different on different people due to density and texture but you have to modify and choose. case by case.
@@SuchANatural no need for that I'm not obsessed at all I was only asking because I'm planning to try to do my own twists to continue to grow my healthy hair and was trying to get a ball park figure of how many I should try to start out with. About how many inches of hair would you say this client has? What would you say would be the minimum inches of hair you need to have decent looking two strands twists?
Decent length of hair is subjective. I like short hair. Have clients that have short hair too. Two inches of hair or longer for twists.

Thanks. Not necessary to use mousse. Maybe you've never seen or used mousse before but it's lightweight..

The camille rose almond jai
So air dry instead of blow dry?
I’m using the blow dryer to air dry. Cool temp setting highest blowing setting
Should the air setting be on cool or hot?
Should be cool air/lowest temperature blowing out high

When you say air blow dry what do you mean?
Cool air. Use the cool setting on the blow dryer to air dry. Similar effect to just air drying without any tools.
