I still dont understand why musical masterpieces like this one and, among others, his beyond-awesome "Rocky" themed medley havent reached more people & reactions. I mean, this is some serious level here. Tommy has 175000 suscribers, at it should be more around at least 1000000 .... give the man his props, if there is a musician that sure deserves all the props, its Tommy. These days, when we find pretty much all music we're looking for on TH-cam, over the years I listened to a lot of songs and artists on TH-cam, which often I became a fan of. But I think i havent watched anything so often and repeatedly over the years, like Tommys music.
No matter if he would sing, play guitar, bass, piano and whatever else he also can do. I am sure there is more. This man was born to make music, and excells at it in every point. I cant even imagine how proud his family must be of him, I mean, if he doesnt carry the family flag, who would be. Tommy Johansson is one of my favourite picks of all time, and in over 36 years Metal i came across a lot of good stuff to say the least. I saw and listened to a lot, but Tommy is right up there with very few things in music that is just perfect.
And now, if you're reading this and havent subscribed to Tommys channel, and "Put a like ;)" how a sooo cute italian metal band guitar player would say in the custest way ^^ ... You know what really sucks... that you can only put one like per video... totally defeats the purpose ^^ ... i wanna put a like every day ...

One of my all time favorite albums. PERIOD! Maximum Security. I bought it back in 87 when it came out and it's STILL awesome. Excellent job...and nice choice.

А что плохого в том чтобы играть в сабатоне? не говоря уже о том что сабатон весь к нему очень хорошо относится. Например разрешает заниматься сайд проектами и т.д. Того же ньюстеда металлика поперла в своё время именно за то что тот хотел своими проектами заниматься.

Dang. Absolutely amazing. Appreciate you playing it thru with a drier signal. The solo part on the original is soaked in delay/reverb. Thanks for posting.
Yeah it makes it really hard to learn it exactly note for note as when you slow it down the individual notes get completely lost in a mess of reverb and delay combined with the current note being played. Was a real headache for me as I wanted to learn it note for note accurate

Way to go Tommy, one of my favorites from MacAlpine from the 80, I bought this when it came out. ( "Tears of Sahara" was my favorite by Tony) I was and still am, into the 80 shred guitar stuff.....well since you did this one, you know what we want now.....Tommy versions of the 80s shred stuff.. RacerX,/Paul Gilbert, Joey Taffola, Ritchie Kotzen, Alex Skolnick/Testament ( that would be killer) what about a guy name David T. Chastain ( really underrated from the 80s) maybe some early Steve Vai, Early Yngwie stuff, Joe Stump,,,,I can go on for days...Bring us more Tommy........
