Love the upside down fire, nice coal bed, less smoke sweet. For cold weather and low maintenance I like the "siberian fire", works great for fire in the rain too. I agree with you teach the kids to build a fire, it is much safer than tech them to fear the fire, which is quite popular in NZ the "firephobia" culture. Love the horde of puppies mate! That is what I mean by siberian log fire
