Ooooh man, these are so much fun to watch! I remember using the dream matte mousse and a rimmel concealer stick. I often used quite a lot of white, slightly shimmery eyeshadow on my lids too and of course, not even blending it much at all so it was waaaay too opaque...
I remember that at the time those were the "fancy" stuff. That was the way everyone did. We piled on top of every girl's magazine to check out the last ideas and the makeup hacks and the photos of how we were supposed to look like to be considered cool. I used those same products just like that. Mostly the fashion ideas would go out first in France, Italy and England and only later reach Portugal.

I used to put black liner in my water line and lipgloss when I was that age. Super basic lol . I like to think I evolved a lot before I finished high school. This is hilarious! I grew up in Switzerland and I used to wear EXACTLY the same make-up look plus the weird hairstyle with the bits at the front and the big skinny hoop earrings... Don't even know where I got that from, we all just did it. Add one of these weird "tattoo-looking" choker necklaces, a croptop and probably some weird flared jeans and you got my early teens 😂😂😂

So many things in this really took me back...that boujouis lipgloss! I used to be obsessed. Also when you mentioned the silver eyeliner...I think that was just a thing in 2001-2002 time..I used to be obsessed with baby blue gel eye shadow! I would smear it on my lid and wear shimmery lipgloss...and barely anything else! So funny you mentioning the eyedrops, I remember in early 2000-2001 there was an advert on tv and in magazines where this woman had amazing bright eyes after putting the drops in...I think it was called z! Could be wrong...I begged my mum for some drops and she thought I was nuts! :) Big thin hoops...god the hair....you have taken me right back! so hilarious. Do you rememmber the gold hoops that would have words written across them (like Mary J in 911) I think mine said sexy on them or something horrendous! x
