I loved this song back in the 80’s and this performance was excellent. How he hit that high note was amazing. Great the see old rockers still rockin’ it out. Thanks for the share. 👏🏼
On the way to a football game back in high school we pulled our money together and was mesmerized first time , Grand Marais , the year was 1982 and we even beat the Best football team in Minnesota. They immediately became my favorite band
Man back in the day, as a teen, and at the roller rink, as soon as the dj put this song on the energy and escape was unreal ill never forget that feeling, thanks boys for the memories!
Wicked! I had the privilege to hang out with these guys(they were on the bill doing a tribute concert for a great singer,Kenny Shields that Paul Dean formed in Canada called Streetheart in the 70’s)…. I stood in the dressing just talking when I mentioned a song and then all of the sudden Mike Reno starts singing that song! Great friends but even a greater band! Thanks for posting this incredible performance
Best decade of music period! I was fortunate enough to be in my 20's single and worked at a music theatre and lived this life party life for 5-6 years straight. I saw all the big 80's bands live. What a memory.
@@ericsprague4273 Same here. I was in my 20s in the best decade ever in music (the 1980s) and single and working at the forum of Montreal where all the biggest Rock artist would play. What an awesome period
How do you know that? I heard the delay/echo jump , but that could be the sound guy. The song is also a 1/2 step down, which is quite reasonable, or sensible.
@@bikersoncall Trust me its true he has lost his high range he is still rocking in a fab group but can't reach it anymore it happens to a lot of singers as they age
I agree, there is a helper track for the background vocals on the turn me loose chorus. No way he sounds this good without some help. Great song and band regardless.
Mike Reno is a cool cat, ever since he said the first thing he did with his first check was buy his dad a house. Music always top notch and playing it live or in studio. This is not a studio only music band, this is a real band that has made it and can duplicate it anytime.
Wow! I saw them 38 years ago! Very impressive, and they still have an amazing sound!
It still sounds great. I love these guys. Graduated high school in 1985 these guys will forever be one of my favorite bands. Still sounds great

He can still belt out that high part as good as ever! Great sound.
The "high part" is on tape & mimed.
