Don't be too alarmed but I've seen before where a seller will pester somebody for a positive feedback before the buyer actually has a chance to fully inspect their collectible for damage. You should check that comic for missing pages or cut out coupons or something. Maybe he was just worried that you wouldn't like the packing job. Who knows but I would double check that bad boy. No book with color breaking spine ticks should be a 9.2 or 9.4 like you mention on the Avengers #257. Just my opinion of course. I'm sure CGC would grade it a 9.8 though.
His mystery boxes seem like they are all the throw away comics from collections he has bought and pulled the keys from and put on his ebay page and gives us the shit no one wants....the one and only thing worth it is now the exclusive comic

Sellers should never never never pester and harass their customers for feedback. That is very unprofessional for a seller to do that and honestly the seller deserves a negative feedback for harassment.

That Darkhorse Presets has a story with Masque which ended up being made into The Mask starring Jim Carey. Nice hidden gem there!!
