I just use scrunchies 1: there easy to put in 2: there not damaging 3: there not SUPER Duper Secure but ther super easy to put back in And there probably less expensive then those to be honest and that’s just my opinion everyone has an opinion but yeah
My hair AND my daughters is way too thick. This thing won't stay in for even five minutes... and they are showing a chick RUNNING with it in the ad. Most misleading advertising ever.
LaurenBrimhall really? I will say this, there advertisements are shown with people who have my hair type... thin-normal. I wondered how it would work with super thick hair. Thanks for sharing!!💜
I have thin to normal hair too - my hair is pretty fine but I have a lot of it - and it definitely did not hold for running, although I think it would be fine for casual wear. I got it primarily as something to hold my hair without having to readjust constantly while working out and it definitely will not work for that purpose. I also find it heavy, bulky, and uncomfortable to wear so I can't see myself using it. No way I'm keeping it; if the return process is too difficult I'm just going to give it to someone to try.
My hair is thick and pretty short and it does not stay in very well BUT both my sisters and my mom have long hair and it works fine so maybe that's why.
99% of the time my hair is a bun, so no. But the occasional 1% that my hair isn't in a bun, yes, I do wear these and also my spandex material hair-ties!
I can see a regular hairtie being a lot easier to secure a bun with. Not that my opinion matters, but the regular ponytail look is super cute on you :)
I love your videos, but just got a combo pack (Pony-O and Bun Barz, you can't buy just a single Pony-O so I figured I'd try the combo pack instead of getting two of the exact same product) and am pretty umimpressed. The product is ugly, its heavy and bulky, and the sticky rubber coating that keeps it from slipping sticks to my hair so badly that it pulls out a bunch of hairs every time I remove it (way more than a regular pony tail holder). The Bun Barz is even worse. I did find the Pony-O easy to put in, but I don't find it comfortable to wear, and the different it makes in the appearance of my pony tail is pretty minimal. My hair is wavy and pretty fine, but I have a lot of it, and I was hoping to find a product that wouldn't slip during workouts (regular pony tail holders often slip out and those curly phone cord pony tail holders tend to stay put but don't hold my pony tail off my neck). I'm going to go for a run with it it tomorrow to give it a full test, but based on first impressions I don't think I'll be keeping it. I'd say this product is worth maybe $5, and if it was possible to go to the store and pick up just one for that price I think I would be less disappointed in it, but at this point I would strongly discourage people from paying $25 (the cost for two items, which is the minimum order, plus shipping) just to try this out. I'm curious if you still have the same opinion of it after having it for a month, and if you find yourself using it. Any chance you've done a workout in it and can report on its staying power during bouncy activities? Unless it totally wows me on my run, and I can find a way to get it out of my hair painlessly, I think I'm going to attempt the return and refund process.
Kari Post Hi!! Thanks for this info! I wonder if it only works well for certain hair types? It held fine for me in the video. I did shake my head around pretty forcefully to see if it would move or loosen and it didn’t. I haven’t done any exercising or anything with it in. If I wear my hair up then 99% of the time it’s in a messy bun which you can’t use the ponyo for. After my video, I lounged around with the ponyo in and found it very uncomfortable to rest my head against the couch with it in or to lay down with it in. Other than that, I still stand by the fact that it did work well for me and i didn’t have any problems with it pulling any hair out. I do agree that the designs of the ponyo could be different to make them prettier. They are thick and do stand out. I appreciate your comment💜hope it ends up working for you or that you can get a refund!
Thanks Lainey! I know people are going to feel differently about it and it may work for different people depending on their use of it and their hair type. I wore it on my run this morning and was even more disappointed in the product. I got maybe 2 houses down from mine (so not more than 50 yards) and it was already half down my head. I reset it thinking maybe I didn't pull it tight enough and ran another 50-100 yards and it was at the nape of my neck so I just took it out and did the rest of my run with my hair loose. For my hair type, it absolutely does not hold for a workout. I did manage to get it out of my hair painlessly the last few times I put it in, but I find it too heavy and pretty uncomfortable. I'm definitely going to try to return it.
She didn't use it correctly, maybe that's why. When she bent the ends in, she pretty much bent it in half, when you're supposed to do a 90 degree bend on each end
If you have thin hair it’s great but thicker hair be warned and the customer service is the worst if you don’t like their product even if you’re nice about it. They will give you the hardest time giving a refund unless you go through PayPal. And even then they only give a partial refund
Elizabeth oa that’s good to know! I did try the ponyo with 3 wefts of extensions in, so you’re hair must be thicker than that because it worked fine with 3 wefts in! Sad to hear that about the customer service! Hopefully you were able to get a full refund 💜
I've been considering buying one to make my hair look fuller in ponytails. I'll make sure to use PayPal if I buy. Why was there only a partial refund and how much did you get back?
I just use scrunchies
1: there easy to put in
2: there not damaging
3: there not SUPER Duper Secure but ther super easy to put back in
And there probably less expensive then those to be honest and that’s just my opinion everyone has an opinion but yeah
i agree but scrunchies will eventually get to worn out and ponyos wont ( mine hasnt so far)
The movie is called Pon-YO
its the best movie ever
Oh I just love love your videos!!! They are so honest and also hilarious!! Thank you for everything you post! Its always so helpful!
Awe yay! I'm glad you think so :) Thank you so much!!!
It looks weird though, where it’s bent under, you can see this big piece not folded in. Not sure how to explain

this is such crap, I bought 2, barely holds my hair.
Yes to all of those stories!
Yay!! Cw to share :)
Awesome video! Do you regularly use the Pony O now or stick with regular hairties?

I loved this so much! And I love your makeup looks!!
Yay! Thank you so much!!
Your videos always make me laugh! I feel like we have the same sense of humor!
Yay! I'm glad someone gets my sense of humor! Lol :)
Is this cream color or white!

Ah! Well, hopefully you can get a refund for it! Thanks for sharing your feedback! It's interesting to see how differently it works for everyone!
Can't wait to see your story time videos - and I'd love to see part two of your 15 and pregnant video 😉
Thank you so much!! :)
What lipstick are you wearing? It’s beautiful!
Kat von d lipstick in double dare! :)
Sorry but it looks bad, the hair tie looked way better.

Elizabeth oa just noticed you said partial refund... that’s awful🤦🏼♀️

Did ponyo pay for this because this is the worst most biased review ever. 🤨
I wonder if a scrunchy would look the same, it looks like a scrunchy up high
I bet it would! But a scrunchy isn't going to hold up like the Ponyo. That thing is sturdy! Your pony won't move.
A 10 minute video to review a hair tie??
😍
:)
