    The 1st song i ever danced to with my date at my friends engagement party. 26yrs later im divorced and my friend passed from covid. Hold on to good times..they don't last forever.

      If it weren't for the bad times, there'd be no reference to identify the good.
      We never realize the "good times" when we're in them because they were also full of pain and problems, we just tend to romanticize it when we look back.
      Life is one long story that moves forward so try not to get stuck in the past. That part of your story is over and there is nothing to be sad about. As long as you're breathing, your story continues. It can be as happy/crazy/adventurous/joyful as you want to make it. The good times are here and now. 🤘🤘

    As a man who attempts to express himself with words as best he can, I don’t have the words that can even come close to what it would take for me to beg you, to please forgive me. All I have to use are the words, will you please forgive me? If I have to grovel on my hands and knees while crying like a little girl, just say so and I’ll do it. When I saw what song you did this week, my heart actually skipped a beat, because not only is that song an amazing song, for me, it is associated with a woman from my past, who was nothing short of an Angel in human form, and she had gorgeous, radiant blonde hair. Talk about the one that got away. Obviously that song reminds me of a very special time in my life, and I just knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that you were going to bring that song to life, not only doing it the justice it deserves, but it was going to be oozing with emotion, having been steeped in your amazing talent, and being drenched with your own life experiences, giving you the ability to sing with tangible nuances that everybody within the sound of your voice can actually feel, and you did exactly that, and beyond. So I will ask you again, will you please forgive me, because as amazing of a rendition as I knew you were going to do, my wildest imagination, didn’t even come close, to what you just did. I am in awe of you.

    Adam, I looked but found no butchers on stage here! Great job as always all around, lead, rhythm and vocals! I was going to ask if you use a looper when playing songs like this live but I you said your first time playing to an audience you were just playing guitar. Do you use a looper though when you play single acoustic gigs? I assume so since you always have such great tie in solo's with your rhythm but just wondering. Thanks!

    • @AdamPearceMusic
      @AdamPearceMusic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you very much, Fronz! And yes, I use a ditto looper a lot when I play live.

    You said your renditions was nothing fancy, I beg to differ. In my opinion, which is worth exactly what you’re paying for it($0), that song is very easily overdone. Restraint is key to the vibe of that song. The solo parts of that song, as played by Slow Hand himself, are a testament to that fact. If anybody can shred a solo, it’s him, and he didn’t do that. What he did was play a melody which is instantly recognizable to probably 97% of the people on the planet, but it’s the emotion with which he played it that makes it such an iconic riff. You demonstrated that same restraint, and what makes it so amazing isn’t that you just copied the riff note for note, it’s the emotion with which you played it. That’s the difference between someone who knows how to play the guitar, and a true artist. Don’t think I didn’t notice you didn’t use your upper register either. As amazing as it is, it would have been too much for that song. Again, restraint. Less is more, and sometimes less is exponentially more, as in this example. The brown hair nod to your beautiful lady was a really nice touch. Class act all the way. You could tell you were singing to someone with whom you were emotionally connected. Phenomenal performance.
