Wow! You had me on the edge of my seat with that buck! Congrats 👏 awesome hunt. That doe folded like a pocket knife. I noticed on the slow-mo you blew out the back of her brain bucket. You said you didn't see a wound on the buck, I think he died of fright from the report of that Canon. Awsome, awesome video!!!!!
Great shots on both the doe and the buck, that .300 PRC is no joke, nice scope cam too, it really allows you to look through the hunter's eyes. I love venison, I only get some when a family member is generous, doesn't happen very often, so I really appreciate it, when it does. My mouth is watering right now. Again, very nice shooting! 😎
Great video, getting scoped is doing business with bigger rifles sometimes! Been there did it! Those field shooting positions will get you sometimes despite everything 99% perfect any other time. That cartridge sure dropped that deer flat out! Very clean! Good job!
Long shot for here is like 250-300. I had a 6.5 with a turret, but sold it and a 223 , planning on buying safari 308 and palmetto state AR-10 in the same caliber. Definitely a good looking buck! I missed one about like him running at about 140 yard's. Well actually a real slow gallop, but moving so still not a easy shot.
Getting scoped with that camera is a lesson I would have learned very soon if not for you.. never woulda though of that..Iv got a 6.5lb 30-378. Might have lost an eye 😂
Always run the higher risk of the scope bitting you between the eyes, shooting at deer from prone position. Oh well some venison chili will make it feel better. 😋
Hey Cody, thanks for your comment. It's a Precision Armament Hypertap. Only brakes I run now, they are local to us, which is nice but they are super lightweight, improve accuracy without messing with harmonics and they insanely reduce recoil.
@@GarrettHamilton how much does the brake cut down on recoil for the 300 prc? Debating on getting a 300 prc or 7 prc. Are you able to watch the shot out of this gun with this on?
I got scoped when I was a kid...77 now and I can still feel it. Cool Video
Smokin, Glad to see you posting some video, know your not in it for the money. Love that picture in a picture. Just bought a tactacam myself.
Nice shooting. Great, hard hitting cartridge, despite the recoil. Bigger recoil than 300 WM, but a bit flatter shooting as well.
Good to see you back.

Very Nice! Drop 'em right where they stand.

Great shots man
Sweet nice looking buck
Two DRTs. Excellent shooting and sorry to see that you got scoped. 🎩♠️🎱🇺🇲🏁🎯🇺🇦🌻🔱🌼🏵️💮🌸🏴☠️🏹
Great stuff man. Good to see you back out on the deer. Talk this weekend for a chat.
Well done mate some good shooting there and i must say that 300 prc got some serious knock down power lol
Good job Eric.

Great shooting, way to hammer em!
Its always epic to see deer "knowing" they're safe, then they're suddenly meeting Jesus on a highlight reel from a *long range vaccination* 🤣👌
One thing about it that deer can track you with your blood trail good luck have fun
Congratulations.

Great shooting… that’s why I try to avoid prone with a scope at all costs.
Shooting at a deer over 600 yards away with somebody else's gun seems like a really stupid idea to me especially when theres more deer around it
BECOME ONE WITH THE GUN!!! AND NO MORE SCOPE CUTS.
Good shooting . How do you guys like the 300prc ?
It’s a hell of a round. Don’t have to worry about tracking too much
Good eating
WHAT STATE YOU HUNTING IN???
Nice shot but get ready to catch hell in the comments for shooting at deer on the skyline
As he should catch hell for that. It was a decent shot though, just extremely poor judgment.
Absolutely shocking 😳
skyline and through the brush..... Maybe he should go back to hunters saftey
What muzzle break is on that gun?
I’ll ask Garrett

@@GarrettHamilton thanks! Would love to see another video on this gun, maybe a long range video with some load development

@@codyarmstrong576 a lot. Like, ¾ reduction. I highly recommend the brake I have
hi, what kind of ammunition do you use for 300 prc
A hand loaded 225gr ELD
@@ChuckinTV
Wow man, that's an elk hammer anytime any place. I thought the 185 grain Berger Hybrid with Retumbo was a good load.
Badass
That brush won't stop a 300 prc round that much
Knocked you down as well😂
You scared that buck ti death there ain't no wound

Could you be any slower getting the shot off.
yes
