Doing a demo in that environment is challenging on many levels. Seth always stays focused and seems calm, centered and approachable. Not an easy thing to do in such chaotic surroundings!
Thanks for tuning in watson watching. It was a tricky setting to record because I was there to demonstrate live to people who were attending a trade show. Very thankful that Raquel was able to do as well as she did given the circumstances.
Hi Lynne! You could do any of these options, of course! They can become a page of your art journal (you can bind them and create a journal out of them or stick them to your art journal pages), you can use them to decorate other projects (collage), you can create a mixed media folder or box and keep them stored there without further alteration. In my case, when I get to do demos at shows and I produce a lot of artwork, I include one on each of my etsy orders, so I give them away to my etsy customers and I handwrite a thank you note on the back (at least as of today (February 2020)). Maybe if my Etsy channel becomes crazy, I may not have enough samples nor time to include these in my parcels and I may end up with just a simple thanks on a stamped little tag... I hope you got some ideas on how to use these. Have a nice weekend! :)
Christy Fox it is a crafters convention so hundreds of people walking around, watching demos, learning about new products. Those conventions are in big open rooms divided by booths. Very loud. But fun to attend!
This was recorded at a trade show where I was demonstrating live for attendees. The video that Raquel was able to capture was a bonus so that we were able to bring the demo to people who were not in attendance.
@@scrapcosyMy comment was not for the noise (I totally understand that) , but for the designers looking over his shoulders.. it would make me nervous hehe..
Always love watching Seth create - one layer away from magic!
Thank you Helen.
Yes! And he always reach magic!
Love how Seth builds up all the layers with paint and stamping. Thank you for sharing

Many thanks Sue.
I can't agree more! :)
I'm new to Seth Apter and all I can say is, "Where have you been all my life?" Amazing demo. I'll be back!!!
hehehe, happy you like him! Stay safe!
Gracias por grabarme a este hombre QUE ME ENCANTA ❤️❤️❤️
Muchas gracias.
jejeje, de nada guapisima! :)
He is a master of grunge. Always enjoy watching him create art. Learn how to build layers and play while doing.
Mega thanks Cyndi.
He is! Thanks for watching Cyndi!
gheez, what's with all the rude people talking in the background!!!! No I don't want a protein bar- I want you to shut up!!!!
It's a convention. Not realistic to expect quiet. But hey, you have a great day.

I agree they should have moved away a bit - really hard to hear seth over those chatty boxes
As Theresa say's, conventions are not quiet. At least you get to see Seth in action, I'm sure you agree that's better than no Seth at all?
I love these mini stamps, I have only 3 now but it’s a start
It is a start indeed! Enjoy them! :)
Qué guay! ! Gracias por compartirlo ♡ ♡
:-) thanks
De nada! :)
Perfection!
Thanks!
Wish the spray bottle was not in the way....
mute background noise

Thanks Seth!
I have a question. I am new to mixed media. What does one do with the pieces when they are done? Stow them away in a journal? Use them somehow?

@@scrapcosy Yes! Thank you so much for responding! This helps a great deal!
Who are those people ? Why didn't they go chat elsewhere? Very distracting...

@@SethApter I felt a little sorry for you Seth with all those designers around you.. :)

would have liked to hear a little more from him about what he was doing and less from listening to all the people talk.
Conventions are tricky in terms of sound... at least we can see Seth in action :)
