Interestingly enough, Yuka Kitamura, the composer who worked on a lot of Fromsoft stuff, left close to a year ago and showed up again just earlier this week having made music for the latest Arknights story. A lot of the music she made is the classic Fromsoft style she used to make.
Marco: I played Ultrakill on the easiest difficulty because that's how I had the most fun Also Marco: hey kid wanna see me first try most of the bosses in Dark Souls? i thought this man couldn't get any more based
@@abduladestroyerofworlds4751 if you think time is a factor for spoiling something then you don't have too much consideration for others, especially in a video that's specifically about the first game of a series 😛
I don't see anyone remarking on this, but your question about where you'd heard Gwyndolin's theme before could be because his theme is a big part of Aldrich's theme from DS3, because Aldritch is eating him. Hence why the projectile spam from Aldrich as well. A good chunk of the fight is an homage to Gwyndolin.
Oh my god. First Marco's video I saw, was an Ultrakill video (The Death of God's Will video), when I just started playing it. Recently, I started playing Dark Souls 3 - and again, you hit straight in my heart)) P.S. Funniest thing, that I had DS3 installed for 3 years, and didn't even clicked on it, until end of april. I really love that kind of coincidences
Marco, do you ever plan to watch the vaati vidya prepare to cry lore video on dark souls 1? I think 95% of the dark souls fans here know of the video and would love to see you react to it. There is also a special interaction you get with Sif the wolf if you beat manus first before seeing him. There is a mournful sad encounter where he remembers you from your fight versus Manus and regretfully takes up arms against his old friend who helped saved the memory of his master
Can't help but agree, knowing the lore for these games makes things a bit more fun overall, and the music really does fit the characters better knowing their past, though maybe thats just my view on it.
i couldnt chat during the livestreams but it makes me so happy being able to see you run through all these games man. i found your channel through them and fromsoft's stories and their incredible music mean so much to me and have a very special place in my heart and its so cool to just see you power through the games and beat the bosses and just relive the magic. plus it was awesome being able to see you be an absolute gamer and kill almost everyone in under 5 tries. what a badass. looking forward to see the rest of the fromsoft games have videos like this too where you just clap everyone haha
Honestly Marco, when I finished doing some mental and physical work, I always got The Nameless Song, it just calms me down, like it sort of makes me reflect to the things that I should and have done like, "did I do enough" "does this mean that I won" "what will I do now?" "Should I continue?" These are the feelings that I get from The Nameless Song, really love your insights and passion about music and game music, much love from me, don't go hollow my friend.
45:01 I don’t know if you have played all of the souls games yet but in case you actually meet the Pigmy sometime in the future… be prepared for the best thing you’ll ever witness in the entirety of soulsborne.
Марко, извини, что не по теме, я редко играю в Геншин, но сегодня в новом событии услышал твой голос у Дворжака (Dvorak) и офигел, а ты оказывается его 2 раз озвучиваешь. Было очень приятно тебя услышать :з
The Gwyn fight always makes me sad, you go in expecting a super epic fight and get hit with the Plin Plin Plon and a hollow old man that is way past its prime.
It's 1:30am and I thought the video was an opera singer singing the choral part of every boss music. I was severely disappointed for a bit, then I read the title again. Time to go to bed.
I’m gonna start this here because I know you once did league of legends theme reactions which is the reason why I started watching and since you already watched/ reacted to viegos theme I will ask for you to react to Yorick’s theme so this will be Day 1
I'm guessing you've play this game before. If so was it more than once? Also i swear a lot of these bosses are doing less damage then i remember them doing. Perhaps that's a remaster thing?

The most impressive encounter was keeping your heart rate below 70 in front of Gwynevere.
He also titled that part of the video 'wonderful chest ahead'
Fun fact: for the Ornstein phase 2 cutscene, Ornstein's model doesn't actually grow. Instead, the stage shrinks!
You know, taking a game design course has taught me that game dev is just professional gaslighting and this fact just cements that thought
That is a neat trick to be fair.
Top tier music analyzer to god tier gamer. My man.
absolutely

Very much enjoyed seeing this. Unfortunately some of the fights were cut a bit too much and the Moonlight Butterfly is missing.

Maneater should be recognized more tbh, she's in almost every soul games.
Most people parry gwyn and dont fight him straight up so for them its easy so you fought him the hard and interesting way.
is bro just him
He's played other souls games so he isn't naked and afraid like he should be lol
Died to Taurus doing the cheese...
After playing Eldenring for 2 years, playing Dark Souls was a BREEZE. Boss-wise anyway. Some of those runs through the Catacombs and stuff was rough.
Capra demon? More like CRAPRA DEMON! Am I right?!
Plin plin plon still kills me inside. Same with Sif.

Love how i tricked you into fighting stray demon😂 best thing i ever did
Uhm? You're actually a God at this game?!?
We need videos of him taking about Artorias and kalameet songs
You didn't even need to kill Priscilla 😢
The best Gargoyles performance I’ve ever seen not rushing the boss is what makes a great souls player
