The Gamemax Brufen C1 ARGB is a slight unusual PC case and has been designed to be the overclockers best friend. This has been achieved by adding 5 fans to the case from the box!
There are 4 ARGB 1220mm airflow fans pre installed 3 up front and one for exhaust at the rear, and they have added to this with the COC 140mm motherboard fan that pulls in cool air to cool the rear of the motherboard and the VRM section, what a clever idea.

Appreciating that the case brings the fan hub. That item is becoming popular these days. To put an altermarket CPU thermal solution I suggest to be very careful with the screws. In another video (another brand which has the same MOBO fan) a screw broke. Thank you very much, Mike & Kath!

I need to remove all my hardware to clean ready for my soon to be dispatched RTX 3060, so I'm definitely going to buy this on Friday to replace the old full tempered glass honeycomb Gamemax case which was always red hot to the touch! Thanks Mike!

I've had this case about 2 months now its no cooler than any case I've used as the fans the case comes with just dont move that much air. I'll be swapping out the front 3 fans for some Arctic fans soon. the rear CPU fan is custom and cannot be replaced if it broke in the future. however it looks great one of main reasons I picked this case over others and I found it really nice to build in.

Good review Mike...compared to their F15 seems to be some up grades such as swing door access and 2x usb3s but as in stream the effectiveness of side fan without proper air thru-flow is debateable. Cheaper back panel and front airflow restrictions take away from a nice looking case imo. I do have one query about gamemax ref usb3 port and on F15 mine doesnt appear to trf data whereas mb usb3 ports work as shud! Stay safe everyone👍
yeah the comparison with the f15 is likely as they are both similar in terms of raw features, the swing out side panel is a really nice touch.
not sure what is going on with your ports? i had a similar issue and just replugged the connector and all was good
@@mikesunboxing when connecting usb3 external drive it is recognised but simply wont trf files. Connect into mb usb3 and trfs without fuss. I will try reconnecting cable as no issues in device manager. Thanks for suggestion Mike👍

yep...i agree with you about the front metal mesh panel...it looks cheap...i don't think it will do anything about the dust...not a bad case but surely gamemax has better ones at the same price
😵 Wish it had front USB C, would have been nice, need a revamp for my old 9700k (perhaps for sale) finally secured a 5950x and build in process, but for the price and considering mesh is all the rage, guess its ok? Cheers for the comprehensive breakdown. 🤪

you can buy universal magnetic filters, so all might not be lost?

Hi, Mike. This is not the case for me. It's too small for what I need. The be quiet 802 I bought can handle a 420mm rad in the front and a 360mm in the top. It even has a front-mounted USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port that I'll never use. 😂
@@mikesunboxing I watched several videos about it and the other cases I was considering and it had what I was looking for. It should arrive next week. I'll let you know how the build goes.

Thats exactly what I thought too, its a nice clean case with plenty space to hide stuff away.
yeah it is a nice looking case, i dont know about the front panel design, it isn't what i would normally choose but it is functional and gets a lot of air through
That actually seems like a great idea to have that motherboard fan thing. Wonder how well it works.
Side note that power button looks seriously close to the coolermaster button.
I take manufacturers tests with a pinch of salt. Be good to see a proper test with fan not plugged in vs plugged in

Does the case also support 305*272mm EATX motherboards if we unscrew the 2 front fans? The official site states that Brufen C1 is EATX if no fan on front.

Вентилятор за сокетом вызывает сомнения, нет возможности поставить свой. Дизайн передней панели не нравится, не понимаю зачем там вертикальная полоса. Жаль не 140мм вентиляторы. На потолке избыточная перфорация. Хаб под вентиляторы вызывает сомнения, часто такие глючат. Регулировка подсветкой мне тоже не нужна, я бы сразу все вентиляторы поменял на качественные. Чем реально хорош этот корпус: 1. есть место под провода, 2 есть вентилятор за сокетом, 3 есть крепление под видеокарту, 4 малый размер, что обеспечивает хорошую продувку, 5 нет дурацких креплений под жидкостное охлаждение.
Hello, I’m new to this type of casing, which includes fans in front.
As i use an optical drive case still.
I’m curious if the front fans will blow air and dust towards me??Because, i’m used to keeping case in desk quite close to me, on my right side.
Also, i'm not used to cleaning casing.
Considering these things,you recommend me this?

yes the real selling point is the fans are totally usable and will be great for almost everyone, but easy to replace should you want to later down the line
Front fans dont move enough air into the case maybe cause there set back abit, but blow air in from the glass side it cools nice, think i need to play with this a little as to be honest its not much cooler than my very old coolermaster case and that had half the fans lmao go figure. cheers
The only thing that I dislike is that there is no front dust filter of any kind. So kinda pointless to have filters for PSU and top, if dust can get all in from the front? Perhaps I missed it in the video, but I do not see filters of any kind from front except that mesh?

@@mikesunboxing I am seriously thinking of getting this case, it literally has all I need from the get go. Minus the filter on the front, but guess with little bit of modding, I might make filters myself and just slap them from the inner side of the front mesh. Should not affect the air flow nor the looks that much but will save me bunch of time on cleaning.
Question tho - what is your impression on the see through panel? - not even sure it is glass, looks more like plexy rather than tempered glass and honestly, looks bit fragile. I know that lot of people had tempered glass shattered easily on other similar cases, so been kinda avoiding dabbing into such.
Is the motherboard fan replaceable? I want to buy this case then replace the COC fan with another one, but Im not sure if thats possible

2) brother can i turn off the rgb lights but keep on the fans at the same time...?
the board you mentioned has no support for any rgb or ARGB lighting so you would just the rgb button on the case or unplug the rgb parts if you want the fans to run without rgb

How does the Brufen C3 compare to this case? I've been trying to find reviews of it but the Brufen C3 seems to be so new that nobody has done one yet. It seems like the only difference is the style of front panel but I still have questions. I cannot tell how much air the front panel will allow in or how well it will filter out dust. I'm also a little confused how you can put in ARGB lights in the front of the C3 because it seems like you cannot see them through the front panel's strip but perhaps that is removable? Since it isn't listed, should I assume that I can through in Corsair fans with iCUE but I cannot use iCUE in the Brufen C3?
looks like a poor airflow setup to me on the C3, Gamemax said they have something brand new for me to take a look at, i hope it isn't the C3. If it is anything like the 3d cad mock up on the site it doesn't look like it will breathe very well.

no sorry at least not in the standard config, i am sure with some diy skills you could, it is only bent metal
@@mikesunboxing I've just picked up the case from Scan - also purchased the Coolermaster Universal GPU mount with Riser cable so I can mount vertically - I'll let you know how it goes 👍
240mm AIO Radiator will clash with tall RAM stick's if trying to mount in the top - I have Corsair Vengeance RGB & I had to move the Rad to the front - why they didn't leave a bit more space up top for clearance I don't know, and getting cable's through the top must be done early because once you mount fans there it's way too tight 😱

@@mikesunboxing Ok, the Coolermaster Universal GPU mount fits (but I had to remove one of the metal strips so I could get the Display port into the GPU) MSI VENTUS 3X 3080TI fits perfectly (just), really happy with the case 👍 I did have everything in a Corsair Crystal 280X but once I added the 3080TI my HDD's & PSU started to cook 😱 that case looks nice but has major design flaws.
Love the case, but still get a laugh outta the name 🤦♀️🤦😵💫
