    Often times we water down Sikhi into common sayings like "it's just about being a good person", etc, but we forget the real depth to Sikhi's message.

    @46:17 - how would you forgive someone when in reality, there is no forgiveness in Sikhi? Because to understand the Ek Oankaar and Hukam is to realise that who is there for you to forgive, and what would you forgive them for? So where does Khima fit into this?????

    It's so challenging when the religion you're pulled towards is built on a language you can't speak. :( Lots of work to do!

      It's OK my friend, you can do it, people have shown it can be done. Just set small achievable goals, maybe pick up a book called "stick with it" by Sean Young Phd which will give you concrete steps to build a habit that's the most proven to work. Best wishes.

      Even if you learn Punjabi it won't help you bcoz. SGGS is not even in Punjabi.

    Such a blessed soul you are🙏
    Please do touch the concept kundalini as maskeen ji has tried to discuss in past but still many confusions with referance to gurbani. Please. A humble request.

    • @anon21qwerty17
      @anon21qwerty17 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      there is no mention of kundalini in SGGS.
      there is only dasam dwar which should be opened by simran.
      kundalini opening is difficult and dangerous.(it is attributed to worldly gains rather than meeting with GOD).
      people who do it, think manipulating body energies for worldly gains is somehow spirituality. if it were so, GURUS would have done it and saved their families and would have all india under their feet.
      but it is maya. so no no! there maybe temporary gains, but you will lose in the end.
      as per SGGS we are to focus on dasam dwar.

    WJKK WJKF, Brother I am new to Sikhi, please forgive me but I do not understand how the character of a Dharami person would be without Ahinsa. In Sikhi we have Miri Piri, we carry Kirpan, shaster, violence to oppress others I understand but violence towards those who oppress others and to those who attack Guru Ji at our Gurdwaras is necessary. However, in each case it is still violence, justified or not. Our father Guru Gobind Singh Ji fought wars, he is a Dharami person, right? But yet he had to use violence...can you please clarify. Thank you!

    In the presence of young children one should refrain from speaking of lust and rape examples. Other than that great vichaar.

    • @AmanSingh0699
      @AmanSingh0699 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Reality should be presented AS IT IS!! Because at the end of the if one understand the true face of reality only then the akaal purakh's hukam can be understood, and praised.

    • @Neklank
      @Neklank 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AmanSingh0699 with that attitude I don't believe you have children, some things are simply inappropriate to discuss not only in front of children This is where bibek budhi comes in and why you have different age groups in Sikhi camps. What next, Charitropakhyan katha taught to 12 year olds?
