For testing the diode, the Fluke 177 Multimeter has a diode test function that measures and displays the actual voltage drop across a junction. Buy the Fluke Multimeter featured in this video at: www.galco.com/b...

Thank you for the video. Very helpful. I am restoring an Auto crane from an old device truck/ mechanics truck. The model of the crane is a Drafthorse. All electric. Continuous duty relays, and a mike of wiring. Your video helped me very much in my trouble shooting.
Thank you for the comment. We hope you found it helpful.
for some reason I had a hard time concentrating, thank you
Excellent instruction video.
A constant beep does not necessarily mean the diodes bad, depends what type of diode it is
Awesome video. Thanks!
Thanks a lot !
Do repair boomboxes
I bet this video would be better without the commercial acting.
hmm thiss was kind of made to sound more complicated than it really is, dont get overwhelmed its super simple stuff
a woman who can test diode?.cant get wrong at that!.nice!
I have that meter.
love learning from pretty chicks
thanks
Watching this video is as helpful as watching a Xxx film is to learning how sexs works.
A Standard Digital Multimeter ( non-fluke meter) do not have a diode check, some people do not have the money to get a fluke so are fluked as a result.
Although the Fluke meter is featured in the video, Galco offers more affordable digital multimeters that have diode testing from brands such as Extech, Triplett, Gardener Bender, Amprobe, Sperry Instruments, etc... This is now a standard feature on nearly all manufacturers of digital multimeters and can be verified on sites that cater to residential needs such as Home Depot and Lowes. If you are referring to voltmeters, ohmmeters or analog multimeters, then there might be a different result, but it would not be a standard DMM.
