The only two people who sing Elvis songs that give me goosebumps are ELVIS and BOUKE. He has everything an imitator does not have, who has to rely on looks and the rest does not come close (often) and that is exactly what Bouke does not want, he just wants to remain himself, with his own identity, singing Elvis songs with his tribute band, and yet to let that great voice live on and that bit of show is part of it, that has to stay..... Bouke is blessed with such vocal cords that are so wonderfully close to the voice and tembre of Elvis's voice. I am proud of Bouke, the man from "my" province of Drenthe In The Netherlands , he from the south of the province and I from the north of it. Thank you Bouke. Greetings Gerdina Kleiker-Visser.

Bouke has the incredible voice without the influences that hurt Elvis. His team starting with Dad and Mom are so supportive, and he has a great team that helps him make it happen. So much goes into the success from a good manager, good advice, loyal musicians who love to play with him, excellent promotion by so many people who record and post his appearances. I'm so glad that you, HIghly Combustible, are following and reacting to his work now. You know he is not an impersonator. The Elvis music fits his voice so well and it give us the gift of continuing to enjoy that incredible voice and performance quality he shares with Elvis. And the tribute programs and trips that he made to the US to film Elvis' beginnings show the respect he has for Elvis's work. More at the Toppers concert at the end of May. Bouke is on his own path, and it is leading him to recognition round the world. So very well deserved.!!!
My favorite Elvis song ...... nobody really nobody could match Elvis for me .... until Bouke performed 10 years ago in the TV program Waar is Elvis , then I said yes okay this young man honors Elvis and still remains himself ....i love him💖

And Bouke he is one of a kind, a humble person who has Elvis in his mind and knows who Elvis was and is in his live, his voice is completly heartbreaking. He warms us in this hactic world and thats what we need allll.

You are right, he doesn't come close to Elvis, he far exceeds Elvis. He is clean, sober, upright, admirable, fit, and stays true to himself. He loves his family, his country and his hometown and is not obsessed with wealth or fame. Bouke is #1 in my book.
