How tf did I miss this?! Points to consider: 1) DLO had an expiring contract and would have likely been on the trade market ANYWAY! 2) DLO knew he was in trade rumors, he prolly wanted to leave 3) After TWO bad playoffs, would the Lakers be willing to pay him big money?! Really? 4) DLO played for BK before, MAYBE he wanted to return! 5) DLOs production went & he was on the bench now, in BK he can be free and ball out! Defense wins championships!
dlo going back to brooklyn was the best thing for his career… finishes szn w them, can resign w them in the off season depending on how he finishes the year… they have enough cap space to do and will also have his bird rights… good opportunity for him and im excited for him
D-Lo never wanted to leave Brooklyn. But he wasn't mad he got traded back to the Lakers. Now he's back were he was happiest and can take all the shots he wants. I won't be surprised if he has a 50+ point scoring night back in Brooklyn. I wish it worked out in LA, but Finn is a better fit. D-Lo can't guard nobody. We can't be trading points. We need a PG that can get stops and disrupt opponents offenses... and hit 3's.
Dlo played same way he played with his former teams. He gave the Lakers what the Lakers signed him for. Better check his career stats and compare it to his stats while playing for the Lakers.
Dlos's game is best suited for streetball, not the NBA. He said it himself: During the regular season, he doesn't really have to think about the flow of the game, so he can just play. But in the playoffs, when the game gets more analytical, he struggles. As a Lakers fan, it was tough to watch the Lakers get swept on their home court. It was tough to watch dlo get cooked be every guard in the league. lack luster defense. Poor shooting when you needed it. But the worst part about it was knowing his trade value had fallen so far teams weren't willing to trade for him for 2 years and rob P still gave him a big-ass contract because they thought watching him leave for nothing would have been an L.
Streetball bro....wtf? His lackluster defense is a physical limitation. Poor shooting "when you needed it" is another stretch, yet it helped this team win quite a few games including the playoffs. Not sure when a player gets traded why fans give off this "he was the worst player ever" vibes...smh.
The Lakers need to get tougher defensively around AD and LeBron. Russell wasn't tough and can't play D. This was all on Rob for not doing his job sooner.
Dlo play basketball as if it’s a hobby instead of a job 😂 no urgency , turn the ball over at the wrong time ,kills momentum. I watched him blow coverage, foul the player & went on to laugh about it.

I’m with Trevor. He could go on Steph like heaters and was a great playmaker with little turnovers. I hope he finds a home

Inconsistent Dlo will be great on another team.
hes been inconsistent his entire career, thats why hes always traded
Final Thoughts....... PEACE OUT ✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️😂
