After acting like a complete psychopath and causing her such heartache, he has the audacity to ask her to forget everything and start again??? Suits him right to end up all alone!!!
Li chingYin is toxic and a horrible man. I've heard that this is a 'love story' between Xiao Feng and Li ChengYin, but like.... No. That's an EXTREMELY toxic relationship and I don't care that Xiao Feng jumped into a certain river to erase her memories. I don't care if she used to love him. Li ChengYin is a horrible person and terrifyingly possessive....
ちゃんさゆり No, she commited suicide to secure a peace between the two countries. The Danchis, her maternal family had already been killed, she had to protect her paternal family and country/people who were on the verge of war. As for LiChenyin, if I found out the person who raised me (the queen) killed my birth mother and slaughtered all of her/my family I would have done the same thing in his shoes. Though he knew Xiofeng was innocent and he had developed feelings for her, he also saw his people imprisoned/enslaved and mistreated by the danchi. Her mother also kept trying to kill his aunt, even though she was ill and dying already. So her family was not innocent. At that time Li Chenyin didnt know about the deal the Gaos had with the danchi to attack villages along the border to continue asking for funds and military troops/equipment. He also didnt know that the Danchi were framed for the murder of the Crown Prince, his most beloved eldest brother. Until the last minute he kept asking for updates on the investigation and it wasnt until much later that he found out it was the second brother who had his assasins diguise as danchi to frame them. Remember it all happened in a matter of days or a couple of weeks that he saw his brother killed, found out about the massacre of his family that he met her and the attack on the danchis took place. Gu Jian was worse in comparison because he knew xiaofeng for much longer, they litteraly grew up together and he knew how this was going to hurt her but still went through with the plan. Still, I think the most wicked was Gu Jians adoptive father and aunt because they raised him from childhood constantly feeding hate and then did the same thing with Li Chenyin about the horrible things that happened to the Gus. Setting both young men onto a path of revenge. He was constantly telling them not to let their emotions confuse them or their mission. If not for the evil people and horrible history surrounding them this would have been a happy couple in love. If Li Chenyin would have left his anger and plans for revenge he could have been the happiest man on earth with XioFeng. What she couldnt forgive him or herself for was because she felt responsible for everything that happened. She couldnt forgive either LiChengyin or GuJian for using her to hurt her own family. In the end I am sure LiChenyin could have found other ways to get merits, and once the second brother was gone, he would have become crown prince regardless. I think what he did to the danchi was unecessary. And especially after her grandfather spoke to him about how he felt about what happened to the Gus. Other than these outside situations, their relationship was not toxic. Sure he was jealous, but that is normal. If not because Gu Jian kept provoking him including kidnapping his wife for days and taunting him he would have never gone overboard like he did. I dont think any husband would be happy if his wife was taken against her will for days to live alone in a cabin in the woods. If someone kidnapped me I would hope my husband find him and beat him to a pulp. The only really toxic part of the relationship was the part where he had to pretend not to care, and even treat her with disdain in order to protect her. That part was really tough for me because she suffered alot thinking that he loved Sese. This made her feel very lonely and it made her miss her homeland even more. This made her very unhappy and caused her to drink alot. But when they were both able to freely be themselves, without restraints they were trully happy. The night she was kidnapped he asked her and she said she was happy. I also think if he had not lost his memory or if at least his soldier friend helped tell him about the past he would have done things differently. He would have understood GuJian, he would have been aware of what he had done to her and his deep love for her. In his world full of darkness, she was the only good thing his only brightness. When he remembered his childhood it wasnt easy. He was constantly getting hit, this made him a very hard person. The desicions he made, though as they were cleaned up an entire nation and others! If not for his actions the danchi and the gaos would have kept attacking, killing and enslaving his people which would have resulted in his father attacking them anyway. That is what he tried to tell Xiaofeng. Of course it made no difference to her as anything would have been better for her personally than the guilt she felt and couldnt bare to live with.
@@rogue1537 I agree with your whole statement except for the fact that he killed Gu Jian out of jealousy... I know he didn't remember what he did in past and that if his general friend told him everything beforehand things would have been different... But he didn't just kill Gu Jian for the fact that he kidnapped his wife and is still in verge of letting her get out of palace but the fact that Xu Feng herself wanted to go with Gu Jian... I agree Gu Jian should also have done things logically instead of acting on the verge of his emotions which took his life through his own cousin and his death adds more to Xu Feng's guilt that yet again she became the reason of someone's death
Tøøbà Khalid true, I dont excuse his actions completely. It seems LiChenyin was always in control of his emotions and his actions. I think in the entirety of his life he had never felt happyness except for the few moments he was with Xiaofeng. Like the moments prior to her being kidnapped or the night of the lantern festival when he didnt even want to let go of her hand. These must be the memories he is talking about because he still dosent remember the past so I wonder how much he actually remembers about his cousin. But from the moment GuJian kidnapped her LiChenyin seemed to loose it and he got that crazy look. She was his only weakness. So thinking how happy she was that night then hating him when she came back just made his emotions erupt. This is just trying to make sense of his state of mind. LiChenyin kept saying how he could feel her love for him, now its pure hate and rejection. He was already prepared to loose everything and everyone in his life except for her. Its the only way to make sense of the events after Xiaofengs death. He could only live thinking that she was somewhere, alive and well. He couldnt face living in a world where she didnt exist. GuJian was definatelly on a suicide mission. He knew it was a trap, but in his mind he either leaves with xiaofeng or dies as her hero and in her arms. I find it hard to believe he thought they could escape. Contradictory to when he said he wanted her to be happy since he should have known how this would make her suffer and feel guilty. He knew he only had months left to live but she didnt. I think for the storys sake, if the goal was for Xiaofeng to be completelly alone having lost everyone she trully loved. So if he had to die, this was the best way they came up with. Its the only explanation to why she had so many opportunities before he got killed to tell Chenyin that GuJian wasnt GuXiaogu. She is there watching as they are about to shoot hundreds of arrows at him, and she is begging him to stop but still dosent say he is not GuXiaogu. In this she was guilty, Pei Zhao also was right there and didnt say it. So to the viewer that saw it as an unecessary death to the writer or director it was necessary and they decided to pin it on the crown prince who was getting more and more mentally unstable from loosing her. This drama definatelly goes deeper than the classic tragic love stories such as Romeo and Juliet which is much simpler and plain. Though both are similarly torn apart by the desire for vengeance and resentment.
@@rogue1537 yeah agreed... If only she'd cleared off this misunderstanding regards Gu Xiao Wu then nothing would have occurred like this. I understand Cheng Yin's situation... People need to realize that this drama is in ancient era not the modern world where love can be only focused. In ancient times, there are much more important things than just love. Cruel or despicable either way you can’t force to unlove the person you love dearly. XF loves LCY unconditionally regardless of what LCY did. LCY loves XF as well but he didn’t know how to love her in the correct way. That was the difference. As for the massacre of XF’s grandpa tribe, it was to blame the emperor not Gu XiaoWu. The emperor knew it was not the tribe that killed former crown prince but he still persisted to order the strike and Gu XiaoWu had no idea of the intention and still had no choice but to obey the order as a royal duty as a prince. Politics and imperial palace affairs were so different than just a beautiful love story back those days. Gu Juan should not have pretended as Gu XiaoWu since he already knew about LCY’s possessiveness of XF and his temper and harsh dealing ways. It was his stupidity that killed him. If only LCY knew Gu XiaoWu was actually himself, none of all those wouldn’t have happened because he clearly knows that XF only loves Gu XiaoWu aka himself. Yes it was harsh for XF to see Gu Joan die in front of her eyes but Gu Joan, Adu and XF brought this fate upon themselves for not saying the truth to LCY about the real Gu XiaoWu. LCY deserves the regrets, heartbreak and the misery after XF died for the things he did but if only the destiny had mercy on both of them they would have a happy ending because they truly loved each other regardless of all the ill will situation between them. Which is why the director and the producers made a mini few sequel episodes for Gu XiaoWu aka LCY and XF’s happy ending in this modern world because these two lovebirds deserve a happy ending for their love for each other. And I’m thankful for the producers for the mini sequel episodes for their happy ending.
I agree. I think many people are so sensitive, they dont understand people who have had difficult lives tend to be tougher or have harder hearts. And thats why I see alot in LCYs character. In a matter of a couple of days hus brother got killed right before his eyes and he found out the queen and her uncle killed his biological mother and her entire family. These were traumatic events that fed a need for vengeance. So even though he met XF and began to have feelings for her I dont think he even realized how strong those feelings were until he lost her. Another thing people ignore is that the Danchis were constantly attacking border villages, killing, raping, looting and enslaving people! These were not nice people! He himself suffered watching how they treated the slaves while he was at their camp. And XF mother continually tried to kill LCY aunt! Her father seemed like a good king, who wanted what was best for his people and peace. But her mother and her danchi family deserved to be stopped. Maybe he could have handled things differently, but like you said the king/emperor had already wanted to take down the danchis for a long time, the murder of the crown prince was just an excuse he latched onto.
Lauren Wai I just finished watching Legend of Fuyao, it was really great. I recommend it if you havent watched it yet. I have watched countless dramas but few kept me as interested as this.
Li Chengyin was just a little boy that grew up without any love, his „mother“ killed his birth mother and in order to take revenge he had to become crown prince. He didn’t want to end up the way he did, he tried his best all the time to keep her safe from any harm. He knew if he was nice to her, everyone would attack her if they wanted to hurt him. And then he finally met someone who gave him the love he craved but all of a sudden she changed and says she hates him, without any explanation, also telling him that she’s in love with „another“ guy. He became psychotic after she seemed to love and care for him so much, just to ignore and hate him a few days after. If ONLY she would have told him the truth, NONE of this would have happened. HER silence killed the Master.
I'm so sick of this li chengyin...i don't even want their reincarnations to meet again I next life...i know it's only drama...but the character though...and it happens when ur so into any drama...who agrees😂
I can understand his actions to some extent. We all know his cruel. Audience forget that before XF was kidnapped, they were almost a loving couple. He loved her and he knew she loved him too, even though she didn’t admit it. When she came back, she turned 180 degrees and hated him, and didn’t give him any excuses why other than he wasn’t GXW. For all he knew, it was GJ who turned her against him. His wants for revenge and confusion turned him erratic and crazy. No, he doesn’t deserve her at all
I know this is not the best solution, but she knew trying to leave is gonna cause bloodshed. What made her believe she could leave quietly? Shouldn’t she bit her time and wait for the right moment? Her impatience have big consequences. Sometimes leaving isn’t the best, especially when the master of the cage is focused on keeping you in. I think she is too prideful and not tactical at all.

I agree
Ok, but they're nothing more Chinese then drama.
I cried and cussed him out for like two hours after watching the movie omg
I can understand his actions to some extent. We all know his cruel. Audience forget that before XF was kidnapped, they were almost a loving couple. He loved her and he knew she loved him too, even though she didn’t admit it. When she came back, she turned 180 degrees and hated him, and didn’t give him any excuses why other than he wasn’t GXW. For all he knew, it was GJ who turned her against him. His wants for revenge and confusion turned him erratic and crazy. No, he doesn’t deserve her at all
Main lead was so selfish and twisted. I'm glad he never got her in the end.
This drama broke my heart so much!!! But I love this drama!!! One of my all time fave cdramas 💔💔❤❤😭😭😭😭
Agreed
OMG I crieddddd😢😭😭😭😭
This is so heartbreaking 💔😭
This guy is just too cruel
His so Ruthless and Cruel here
i want to watch it but cant bear to..😰😰
@jjhobibpink21bbgot7
You seriously need to watch Goodbye My Princess! :D I fell in love with this drama so badly and even until now no other drama this year has topped it.
omg me too these clips are so heartbreaking I cant bear to watch the actual drama
@@Chibiaya10 i think i will if i'll finish princess silver.
Don't watch it because the ending is sad tho..
@@dizzaderain6100 i did watch it and i like how they ended it. most satisfying tragic ending..😁 i drooped princess silver to watch this and its worth it.
Some of these commentors must tolerate toxic people in their lives because whew these comment 🤦♂️
I would have jumped of the wall
Agreed
Oh yeh she totally could have threatened to jump off unless he let gu Jian and ah du go. She was willing to jump later anyway. Guess didn’t think to do it at this time since she was in shock.
all my appreciation to the *voice* actor.s
His hands are too nice
And the title of this video is very misleading. The crown princess consort loves LCY aka the real Gu XiaoWu. Gu Jian is her master and her good friend. XF only loves LCY aka Gu XiaoWu in her life.
Please stop misleading people who haven’t watched the drama till the end or don’t understand the drama at all.
Going by your comment, I'm going to give this drama a chance regardless the ending. Gonna watch how the script is written to let the ninth princess handle her grief and love for the man who'd killed her grandfather and those she loved.
Thanks 👌🏻
IreneMy this drama is a masterpiece. I totally recommend this although this is a heartbreaking story. 👍
@@YQSHidle thank You, dear Lauren. I've started to watch those with English subtitles and must give credit to the scriptwriter and the cast for delivering the lines and flow of the plot. If not for the English subtitles, I would have passed on this, as not being able to follow a dialogue would handicap my grasp of the storyline.
Again, 👌🏻👌🏻🙏... Wishing you a pleasant Tuesday and best wishes for the coming Lunar New Year!!!
IreneMy yes thanks happy lunar year to you too :)
I just found this channel. How do I watch the series, not just clips?
I love the title of this
I aint crying, you are
I know I am, pass the tissues 🤧
He is sooo ruthlesss
Which episode is this pliz tell me?
The episode is in the description
Li Chengyin is a psychopath. WTH. K. It's meant to be that he will never end up with her.
Is this drama having sad ending?
Yeah, but its a very good drama, trust me.
They released their third life afterwards because the fans were upset. The man told these two that they would have 3 incarnations together so the third got released. There is a happy ending
@@KatieCatWalker really?
@@blazesummer4201 they released one episode if your will and you can find it on here. I don't think it's got English subtitles yet but it is set here in our time frame
It has 2 alternative ending... One is sad and one is happy
Sad movie. Sad ending.
Which episode
Actually i hate this drama bcs of this 😌
Same here
So anyone gonna tell me where I can watch the whole drama and not clips or if there is an app??? Someone pls tell meee😭😭
Kissasian
Just search it up here and there's full episodes
This show is full of hate... sad ending...
what a scene to watch when medicated. truly umfathomable
It looks like remake of king's woman
No it is more beautiful than that. Watch it.
Nope, not at all.
Nope not at all and it's honestly much more good than king's woman
Thank the Lord I stopped after some 20 episodes. I wouldn't be able to bear all this shit. I be a weeping mess
You need to finish it... It has two endings... It's a masterpiece
Gu Jian 😢😢😢😢😢😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😤😤😤😤😤😤 odio Li Cheng Yin
Stg the people who don’t watch the drama and comment on these clips assuming shit make me annoyed.
He is one of my least favorite C drama heroes. He 100 % deserves the tragic ending that he got. Got off too easy even in my opinion
Are the supernatural with how they jump?
Name of drama
Goodbye my princess
😭🥺😭🥺😭🥺
R they twins
oh gosh so now she ended thinking she is in love with her master?? stupid plot ...
Dude I was in love with this drama and was ten episodes away from the ending when I FOUND OUT THE ENDING AND I COULDN'T FUCKING BARE TO WATCH IT ALL LIKE WTF KSLSSKWK FUCKING AWFUL ENDING WHYYYY YYYY
呵~為何堅持不告訴李承鄴就是是顧小五失憶的真相,就算他存疑也許李承鄴就不會黑化的那麼極端 ? 也許就沒那麼多悲慘 ? 有點莫名其妙不知在堅持啥 ?
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
is the story similar to that kdrama the last princess?
no lol
Xiaofeng will be imprisoned bec she is a traitor to his husband. She already married him so she should accept him.
Are you going to accept the murderer who killed your entire family just bcoz you married him nd he is your husband
she is not a traitor? she didn't even cheat on the Crown Prince what r u talking about
Excuse me! Did you even watch the drama?
I hate Li Chung Yun. I hate drama
So, this is sold has a beautifull love story!!!! yikes. Selling lack of empathy, lack of compassion, lack of true love and tremendous entitlement and narcissism as love in a twisted way...What a way of educating the new generation of impressionable young ladies about life, love and womens´s role in the world!!!!
Even trying to see this in the context of thought of that time in history and taking into account the imaturity of the character I can only see him as a narcissist interested only in catering to his needs.
A simple, "Please don't kill my friend," would've sufficed?
SamuraiX bruh didn’t u see her beg on his knees? Let alone “please don’t kill my friend”. He is cruel he even killed her family and you think he will easily let her friend live
So everything that happen here is the crown princess fault . She made the crown prince to believe other wise . U don’t play with someone heart like that !!!! . If only she had told him the truth about the person she loves was really him the crown prince and that’s what she use to call him .
Pot boiler.
his death is for the best.. trying to covet other people's property.
Diana Vivian The husband is sick. Deserves to be abandoned.
Have you even seen the drama 😂 the prince is sick... First he made her fall in love with him then betrayed her by killing her whole family... Letter both forget everything and got married but he's still obsessed to the point where he killed the wrong person over a misunderstanding
@@Tooba-K123 yeah i have watched the drama and am not supporting the male lead..he had his shortcomings,,,but this master of hers was just everywhere being annoying.
@@dianaetenyi5789 well both these guys didn't deserve her but this master of her was just trying to help her get back at her hometown
Bloody prince
