Fun fact: Viking River Splash was due to open Aug 2007 (I know, I specifically went on the supposed opening day that year), and they were still building the walkway you just went on. It didn't open till (I think) October or November that year, but because it was so late, the Legoland team beefed up the ride and area for the 2008 season as a 'new ride'.
In my opinion, I think LEGOLAND would really benefit from having a monorail. Now that the brand-new adventure golf course is open and next year the woodland lodges accommodation will be opening, a monorail could really improve accessibility. These 2 new facilities are located in a completely different location to the 2 hotels so a monorail would be great as it could connect them all together!
I LOVE LEGOLAND! really underappreciated park, so fun! kind of controversial opinion, despite doing curse at alton manor recently, flight of the sky lion is my favorite uk dark ride. great video! edit: you said about the old days of viking river splash, i was too short to ride, but i loved watching people on it! when i did it for the first time (after the bucket was removed) and its one of the rides that made me not fear rides anymore!
One thing that stands out to me at Merlin Attractions is the staff always throw themselves into whatever the theme is, and make things really interactive and fun. 😁😁 I remember when I used to work at the LEGO Discovery Centre in Birmingham, and during Halloween the Master Builder made lots of pumpkins, ghosts and bats out of random bricks during staff meetings. We would also find random ghosts around Miniland Birmingham weeks after Halloween. I think I spotted the last one just before Christmas. 😂😂 In terms of the Land of the Vikings, it would be good to tie it into Ninjago. Im surprised the Spinning Spider hasnt become Spinjitzu related, but another coaster would be great. The only question is what can you realistically put on such hilly, uneven terrain? 🤔
That is definitely an old sign for viking river splash, they wheeled it out last month when it went down but fortunately about a week before it closed I managed to get 2 rides on it in the rain.
Fab vlog both. Looks brilliant with all the 'Brick or Treat' signage, Halloween lego and cobwebbing etc. The bat build that Charlotte put together is a great idea. Went with my son in the summer to Legoland using his pass. What a fabulous day out, I absolutely loved it, such attention to detail with all the lego characters and theme builds. We had good weather and not busy at all so we got on all the rides and attractions. The park is really well thought out for families too. 'Everything is awesome' as Shawn and Charlotte would say 🤣
Great video! Did you guys notice that LEGOLAND had done some maintenance to the front of Monster Party, looks much better when I was there the other day!
Honestly, Ninjago is a really strong theme for LEGO, if they replace the River Splash and expand the Ninjago area, a Mack Spinning Coaster would be a perfect fit and hopefully win you back over to the theme 😅
@@MagicalendermanOwen too kind haha I've seen a few other people share my feelings! I just want LEGOLAND to keep getting better and better - it deserves it!
in my opinion viking river splash was awesome though last time i rode it it was about two years since the temperary closure and povs cant help so i lost all experience of it (all povs have it so all you see is heads and backs of chairs no good view)
first i wonder what would happen if you acted and/or said you were a monster while in the monster street experience second they are all very kind monsters
Excellent video Shawn and Charlotte from LEGOLAND Windsor for Brick Or Treat 2023! We experience the Halloween walk-through, Monster Street, and share highlights from this fantastic interactive experience. We also watch the Monster Jam show along with checking out the spooktacular Halloween decorations around the park! keep the good videos coming on the channel, Shawn and Charlotte. 😀😎👍👍
Legoland Deutschland has a B&M Wing Coaster so a B&M Wing Coaster for Legoland Windsor isn't impossible, I don't think the parks around the M25 need another B&M wing coaster though
i think they should add either another or multiple more lego ninjago rides or keep the dragons and make it a dragon type ride cause the dragons are quite new i think so it will be a shame to lose them so fast (or add them to lego ninjago ride(s) as dragons are part of lego ninjago)
@@ThemeParkWorldwide its great i dont know why they havent advertised it. I was surprised when we went on it. Its disco balls, music and halloween ghost projections🎃🎃
Hello, another great video! 😁 What day will you be at hull fair? Me and my daughter love watching your videos and would love to meet you. Keep up with the amazing videos! ❤
Hi just have to say the signs for Brick or Treat....the "goo" running from the top looks like it spells TIT .....sorry! Has anyone else noticed it? 😂❤❤
They certainly feature some decent theming and shows at this event. It’s such a shame to see Vikings abandoned like this. Would love theme to put something like Phoenix rising on there, with a Ninjago theme.

i thpught it was 2005
I will never forgive my dad for not using the free tickets to legoland windsor we received. You can never be too old for lego.
You can

It’s not that great if you’re above 10
What’s the brick thing at the bottom of the board when u get a pop badge
For Viking river splash i was lucky enough to get the limited edition pop badge about it and ride on one of its last days
Love the vlog. Heading to Legoland with the kids for the first time next week. Your video has got us all very excited 😆🎉
Have fun!

Did anybody else notice that the x files theme was playing in the beginning???
Omg it actually plays when you enter!!
Some great spooky music around the park!
This looks so good! I think I’m going to have to make it my goal next year to take my daughter to each theme park through halloween!
Have fun!
i cannot wait to join legoland staff they are so fun and entertaining sadly though i gotta wait four more years

your my experience of brick or treat and best character on monster street so far is the pirate (my strong obsession and he was cool like all of them)

We had a great time!
My little nephew like legoland great blog guys
If they expand the Ninjago area, a Spinjitzu-themed spinning coaster makes perfect sense!
That would be great!
Something like the spinball whizzer at Alton towers would be great they need more rides for the older audience

That’s good to hear!
So Camp So Brilliant 25:17
Shawn, why did Viking river splash close?
Mostly due to the high operating costs
It looks so lovely!!🎉 Will there be another christmas spectacular this year?
Of course! 7pm on Christmas Eve!

Hi Sean and Charlotte. Do you have any tips on how to do as many rides as possible at Drayton manor. As I might be going soon
The park is quite compact and easy to navigate which is great! I’d start on shockwave and work round!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide thank you I will try that.
About the showtimes. I think they're not on the boards so they can be more flexible with it and easier to change.
I guess so, however I still think they should display them clearly
Weird question Shawn but where are you from in the uk im from sunderland
