Given your setup this speaker sounds very natural balanced and good. Not exaggerating nothing. Just an aim at natural balanced and controlled sounding. What is your preferences? Can we get more detail and real information at the same time as a the control and balance? That would be cool. For sure that needs to be balanced in a close cabin like a car. I would love to hear your experience and demoes in a real world car cabin. :)
They're getting 5 star reviews because as you stated people want them to replace their old oem factory speakers and these happen to work and are cheap and most people aren't audiophiles listening for that crisp sound

I have those same speakers in my truck and I have them paired with a Pioneer AVH-120BT head unit and a Hifonics Zeus 600.4 amp and I have never heard anything yet with better sound quality that that combination. I honestly feel like you could have gotten defective speakers. It is what it is you win some and you lose some.

La radio promedio de cualquier estereo trae entre 15 a 20rms x 4 canales. Las mejores traen 25rms. Osea es el parlante perfecto por precio calidad. Esta claro que no es para ser amplificarlo.!!! 30 dolares aca en Chile $$$ . Por ende colocar componentes de 16cm pioneer de 100rms y notaras el poder del parlante. 120$$$ dolares.🎉
The reason they have great reviews is because people listen to them ACTUALLY MOUNTED IN THEIR CAR!! Anyone who knows anything about audio knows you cant just free air a speaker and expect it to sound great. Put that speaker in a treated door or even an appropriate enclosure and youll get more than your money's worth. I have no dog in this fight. I dont own those speakers. I dont sell speakers for a living. But cmon man. Even when you picked up the speaker and turned it while it was playing the sound greatly improved. Pioneer has always given customers great products for a decent price. And they usually last a long time unless you got some idiot feeding it insane power that it wasnt meant for. And the 200w max rating is just a max power rating for short dynamic bursts. Of course it wont take 200w continuous power. To truly test speakers and give an HONEST review, you NEED to have some sort of test enclosure to give each speaker a fair chance. This free air BS is just that. BS.

I don’t know how you rate speakers without putting them in the right enclosure or testing them in a vehicle. It’s so weird fam.

I like the video but why didn't you put the speakers in an enclosure to see what they really sound like? All speakers sound awful played like that.

I want to know how the Pioneer TS-D65F D sounds to you. You should also use a frequency generator to see how low a speaker truly goes.
