My favorite episode of this season 😍
Reflecting back to how I felt when I first watched this, this was the point I think, when I realized the depth of the character development in store for this show. Lucifer and the struggle with his father, plus his slow understanding of human emotions. With Chloe, at the beginning of this show she was somewhat of a loner, whose focus was on her daughter and work alone. I think this episode marked the time when Chloe earned her 1st friend and Lucifer earned his 1st friend. You can see with the chemistry between the two of them it would be easy and predictable for the writers to put them together as a couple but instead they gave them an opportunity to become strong friends who truly cared for each other, whether they admit it openly or not. The police procedural is just an accompaniment to the true story of this show ❤ Keep watching, it only gets better 😊

Yes, I ship Lucifer and Chloe for sure, but I do love a slow burn, and I wouldn't want the writers to just throw them together. I love that they're becoming friends first, and really getting to know and care about each other. This show is so wonderful at delving into layered emotions. I love it! Thanks for watching! ❤

The question is why Dan didn't confess to Chloe what he did, if he shot Malcolm to save her? the answer is simple Dan was a dirty cop like Malcom, and Dan hoped that Malcom would die and no one would find out who shot him. the problem was that Amenadiel brought Malcolm back from the dead. Let's remember that Dan accompanied Chloe throughout the investigation but not to help her, but to know what Chloe could discover.

That's an interesting point. I'm anxious to know more about what went down there. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Dan should have told Chloe sooner and when he finally realizes that the moment isn't right because Chloe was rightfully worried about her friend. I personally think Dan was trying to protect Chloe. Dan may not have been totally clean but I think he was more lazy & sauntered into questionable behavior than choosing that path deliberately. Father Frank was amazing & he made a big impact on Lucifer and the viewers.
