Got one of the newer release Fantomen, sunburst finish (which IMHO) is gorgeous compared to monochromatic white/black. I got mine used (and it looked like the first owner had it about 3 months and barely touched it). Set up was good. Love the Lundgrens, but found that a noise gate helped hush them a bit. Flatter radius took a bit, and composite fingerboard feels "drier", but I got used to it. Thanks for the review man, dig your stuff...up the irons!
Thanks for the comment! Glad to hear the new guitar! These have the potential of being really good guitars at their price point. Noise gates help on these pickups for sure. I have high end lundgrens on another guitar, so I'm aware of what was lacking on these, and I felt like I should talk about it. I'm glad you got one with a good setup! Theres nothing like buying a guitar and finding out its firewood... Except a house I guess.
@@BeigeYeti12345 yeah unfortunately I won't be there any time soon. I almost bought a les paul a few weeks ago. I talked myself out of it, but I might go for it in the future. If i do, I'll make a video.
@@jessebillson I recommend trying the traditional pro 2. It has coil splits for both humbuckers plus a 10db boost which is pretty rad. Had one and let it go. I miss it but my traditional pro is pretty damned nice itself.
