I went thru it today and I was fucking terrified, hang gliding is 10x less scary

Years ago I went that way because of the rock slides on the coast. There were signs about DO NOT STOP near the army camp. It's more dangerous going west to east, especially near dusk [sheer drop-offs].

Drove the road two weeks ago - East from 1 to 101. Had no choice since highway one was closed just north of Ragged Pt due to a jack knifed truck. I didn’t think the road was all that bad - pavement is in great condition.

This video is good. But this video would be great if it wasn't all in fast-forward. This road needs time to draw you in and unveil its beauty. Best to just let it soak in.

Great video! I was wondering how long it takes from US101 to CA01 and what is the average speed?

This is God's Country ! Quit driving like Hell thru it! A sign in Texas. Pretty fast video Yikes thxs for vid. I was surprised to see that it is now paved! Wow, I remember the dirt part and the breathtaking view when you can view the ocean from high above. Now it is probably grid lock since the 2017 slides
