And a new starting position, because goddamn, the empire is one of my fav faction but i hate all of the starting positions except for karl franz, Volkmar is the same as Karl except he has shittier faction bonuses, Gelt has the worst campaign goals out of all the empire lords, needing to take out grimgor cheatinghide, and chasing him all over the badlands with him using the underway constantly after he deletes karaz-a-karak in like 6 turns, and Markus Wulfhart starts in the clusterfuck that is Lustria and has one of the most annoying faction mechanics in the game.
Agree with most statements, Volkmar should be somewhere near Norsca so that he might be one of first ones to repel chaos and make him actually good fighter (in lore he beats demons WITH BARE HANDS, meanwhile in game he has problems with beating generic empire lord) Markuss hostility should only work when fighting lizardmen or totally get rid off once you get that full gauge of emperor mandate or whatever it is called

@@zaarif2246 what about situation when you got shity map (like in teritorys of norsca and wood elfs) with lot of trees and cover (hills) those rockets are useless and empire has only mid tier units too hold the line and they arent good at it (they need more tankier unit then halberdiers and tanks for anti large)
It's so weird how imperial units cost the same when they are weaker than most of their other counterparts. I mean when you own the whole empire you have like super cheap state troops but at that point you will be fighting chaos.
@@Galdenberry_Lamphuck the closest thing they have to Elite Infantry is the Elector Units which can't exactly be spammed and massed easily. They at least need something like Eldred's Guards to be easily available so their frontline doesn't get pushed aside easily.

I will say empire is in perfect position right now in TW warhammer, just it lacks one thing that rest of factions have, elite units.
