This is my 2011 Ford Ranger XL 2.3l with a Flowmaster 40 on it, with an angled 3" stainless tip. Sounds awesome!! Can't go wrong with Flowmaster!! Thanks for watching!!!
It does, yes. Just listened to another video put up about the same time. His pipes are cut off and yours sounds a good bit better IMO. Ck out my Flowmasters on my Duster. I added a cam to it a while back too, so you can hear the before/after.
Does the year of the truck make a difference? I have a 2000 2.3 and want to throw a 40 series on it but have seen a few videos where it sounds like crap and yours has a nice tone to it
Would you also recommend this muffler on an 01 Honda Accord? It also has a 2.3L i4 and right now I still have my stock exhaust that has 1 cat and 1 resonator. If I changed only the muffler, could I expect the same results as what you got here?
I don't expect to see a response to my comment but I've been thinking about doing a different exhaust on my 2011 Ranger and was wondering if you changed the size of the pipe to like a 3-in or something. Id like to have more flow through since I put a new intake on so was just wondering on your piping size
Thing sounds good man has a nice rasp to it without being riced out

Kman thanks and I'll check out your video
Oh hell yeah bro sounds really good.
Do you have a catalytic converter on it? Sounds great!

Christopher Garcia it shouldn't really matter what model it is. As long as it's a 2.3l it should abound similar to mine. And thanks, I like it too
Did notice any difference in engine performance with this set up? Thanks !
alexander cardona it maybe gave it 10-15 extra hp but nothing too noticeable
Did you get a flowmaster with the 2.25 inlet/outlet (stock size) or go up to a 2.5?

Ehhhh idk about on a Honda Accord. I would just do a muffler delete on that
did you delete the resonator?
Cellulite3000 no I just put a Flowmaster 40 and a 3 inch stainless steel angled tip on it!

The only thing I did was put the muffler on and put the tip on. I didn’t change the pipe size at all
@@joshnorwood8282 do you think for a 2005 2.3 it would sound something similar?
@@drakejefferson449 yes I think it would be very similar if not the same
@@joshnorwood8282 I just got this for my Ranger did you do 2.25 outlet and 3in Inlet or is it stock 2.25 Inlet and Outlet?
@@joshnorwood8282 since I got the 3-inch Inlet 2.5 Outlet single in dual out Cat-Back setup
