One of the main things that brought me to the evolve board was the option to customize and get replacement parts. I think you should have some more training videos on replacing/changing items, and possibly a video that compares all your boards vs. the competition i.e. Metro Board. Thanks for everything evolve! Great work =)
My Fave weekly Vid! Thanks for all the off-road tips. I never new about the tire liners I will def have to look Into that. My son and I will have to go practice at the BMX track! We will def have to get a second board soon. A Family ride will be awesome we take turns now. I also didn’t think about walking the track great idea! 💡
I ride my gtr evolve board on the hard packed sand of cable beach in broome, west Australia usually at sunset. My safety gear is board shorts and sunnies while drinking a can of beer 😅
Great video! Thanks for posting! I haven't skated in like 20 years so I bought the Bamboo GTX with the street setup. I've been practicing a little each week and I'm starting to improve a little bit. You guys are REALLY making me want to get the offroad kit now too.
Haha the AT kit is actually really great to learn on because it's so flexible across different terrain. After you get used to that, you can graduate to the full off road tyres shown in this video. Did you see the Fred's video on our channel re learning to ride? He used the standard AT kit. Good luck and let us know how you progress!
I watched Fred's "Learning to Ride" videos the day before I bought mine! It's great content, and it's perfect marketing material for you guys! It taught me about the product and how to best use it, and it also made me want to buy it. I'm really having a blast riding it. I'm almost comfortable enough to make a short film of riding it so I'll be sure to share it with you guys when I do.
Does the 110mm wheels deliver less torque surface and if yes,,then is it noticeable,,is it really going to affect my hill climbing performance to the 83mm or 97mm wheels
I decided for the Carbon now and after lots of offroad rides I do not regret it yet. Legs get a bit tired after riding on gravel roads for a couple of hours but I guess it'd be the same with the Bamboo.
Heya Jelly. Purchase unlikely. It’s like a rocket and far too fast in uncontrolled conditions. Didn’t u notice the ambulance in the background :-) Good idea about featuring it though. We have an episode on custom boards coming up so we might bring it back!
bfarm44 it’s up to personal preference pretty much. I have both carbon and bamboo and I truely enjoy the bamboo quite a bit more.... I essentially only purchased the carbon because it’s easier to water proof for the wet weather..
so i recently got a Evolve bamboo GT with AT wheels and was riding with AT wheels and noticed that the edge of my tires rub a little against the belt guards causing a thing part of the tire to melt/shave off the side. is there a way to space it out a little or will it just rub down till it no longer touches. thanks
I ride on cable beach in broome west Australia, but it's only possible because the sand is Hard packed (most of the time, when it's not high tides) but yeah a more beach orientated would be a good option.
@@grahamlupton That sounds awesome graham! When the tide is out at the beach where I surf, there is a huge expanse of firm sand which would be a ball to ride on. I noticed a board from another Australian company, Epic Skateboards, has a board with huge wide tires and I thought it would be nice to have one of those boards. Either way, Evolve or Epic, I'm just dreamin' as I can't afford a board from either company...lol. Cheers, John
I noticed no one in the world cup uses foot straps or stops. Is that because of rules for the cup or just no one wants to use them? With foot straps I'd feel more confident on those bmx tracks.
Evolve Skateboards I see, it definetely adds a level of intensity and skill going that fast on uneven terrain. I agree with the decision. Although I'd like to see a semi custom category in the future. I like the content keep it up.
I just found out that these boards aren’t ethnically legal in Sydney :( I’ve had my board for 2 weeks no trouble so far but anyone know what I should do if I encounter a cop?
John Smitherson the ride is 10x smoother.. I would give up a 4 km speed difference and a slippery wheel to carving corners just to be able to pretty much take it ANYWHERE! And btw the street and AT are the same price buddy 👍 it only costs more for both sets (AT and street)
Absolutely wonderful

Hi Derrick. Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. Next weeks videos will probably be of interest to you :-)
This is the coolest feature about the skateboards. Our roads are terrible, but this allows you to skate even our roads. Cheers!
just got my bamboo gtx, so many videos going up as i type this! Incoming off road sessions forsure
How has she been holding up over the years? any common issues?
Riding a skateboard off road! The future is awesome!

Awesome video! A bunch of great tips I didn't know.

so the MBS tyres fit the evolve 7 inch hubs correct?
Is there any difference on offroad tracks between the bamboo deck and the carbon deck?
Mike vom Mars
Carbon is as stiff as a surfboard. Which is the point.
I decided for the Carbon now and after lots of offroad rides I do not regret it yet. Legs get a bit tired after riding on gravel roads for a couple of hours but I guess it'd be the same with the Bamboo.
can you showcase the custom carbon gt board that raced the go kart. and please make it available for purchase

Could you at least make a faster board for us speed freaks. Maybe not to the level of that custom carbon gt but still one that can beat the raptor 2.
Absolutely love my bamboo, adding the carbon fiber next

Andrew Kimrey uthat shouldn’t be happening at all. Tell them you might get a replacement.
It’s been 4 months hopefully you did haha
Like riding a bike once you get it you are hooked.
Love the off road boards Evolve! Are you guys planning on offering a wider tire for beach riding?...just curious. Cheers, John ;)

Hi Athanos. They weren’t allowed at the last World Cup to keep the event even

It does indeed. If you haven't seen the world cup videos from last year check them out, the All Terrain race had some especially great riding moments.
Can I please get a discount code

if you have all terrain wheels on then outrun the cop.
Or just drop a leg and make it look like ur kicking it along lol
Just don’t go too fast in public areas you should be fine haha
Cay i buy one
Sure you can but......my Evolve cost about $500 more than my first car.
But worth every penny.
Sure can. Check out evolveskateboards.com for your closest distributor.
Expensive
A truck!!!
I don't why you need to spend $2k just to get off-road.

MBS WHEELS JUST BETTER…
