I played all the games in the Myst series back then with enthusiasm and I have all the CDs. I also have an old laptop on which I can play all the Myst and URU games. When I look at the game now, I should look for boxes to put it in. Greetings from Stuttgart, Germany
11:52 Yes, I'll take care of Yeesha. Don't you worry about anything, Mr. A. Oh, and take your time. You wouldn't want to damage any extra equipment by making haste, right?
I love how Sirrus makes one fatal flaw at the end: Yeesha should have no reason to know how the memory transfer machine works. If she did, then it was clear that Sirrus put her in the machine and explained it to her.
Thank you for the video I just subscribed I have a channel I’m currently editing my retro store video and I filmed this game but had no clue what it was lol. It looks good I wonder if the switch wll lol l ever make a collection of these 😊 thank you
Does anyone remember a myst episode in which you see some islands in the horizon and then when you reach them you find out they’re just flat panels that look like islands from a distance? You can walk behind them with some ladders and ramps
@@dexterWESThe Path of the Shell expansion for URU: Ages Beyond Myst. A very memorable moment indeed. URU is my personal favorite in the series. Both the main game and the two expansions are included with URU: Complete Chronicles on Steam and GoG!
@@pointandclickersI don’t see it as inferior to any of the others. The worlds are beautiful and full of life, atmosphere and interactivity. It’s like a painting in motion.
I noticed this on my game too. You have to change both your monitor settings and screen resolution to get it to 4:3 with black bars on the sides, otherwise it will always stretch. The symbol in the menu should be a circle.
@@pointandclickers The image is stretched out horizontally. This game was designed for 4:3 aspect, not 16:9. On modern screens you should be seeing the black side bars if your showing it correctly.

Greetings. Sounds great buddy. Very jealous
For anyone who watches this all the way through like I am. If you're curious what the song is that starts at 04:09:10, it's Curtains by Peter Gabriel
Thanks for this Gabriel. Hope you enjoyed the video. 👌

Haha
For 2004 look amazing
Ahead of its time
Peter Gabriel just makes this so much more kickass!
I agree

Glad you enjoyed the video. I hope so. I do love the classics and on a hand held console would be great.
@@pointandclickers looks better on a handheld:) ok thank you :)
@segagirladventurespico I bet

@@deemster4249 THANK YOU so much for helping me out finding this!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t really get the comments I’ve seen that say they enjoy riven but dislike this one. It’s AMAZING
There's good things and bad things about it.

Why did you stretch the aspect ratio? Looks bad.

Well done for noticing
how can you make it full screen ?
Just press full screen
Is it as good as Myst 3?
Much the same
I dont know whether to get Riven or Myst 4@@pointandclickers
Ah i really dont know...why not both?
They are remaking Riven at Cyan. Wait for it.@@TasmanianTigerGrrr
I'd say it's better
That intro song was beyond obnoxious. It’s like epic medieval opera meets screamo. AI could make a better song.
Probably
Finally finished it and it really was the worst Myst game. All that new age bullshit and annyoing puzzles..... Well, I hope 5 is better.
Yeah storyline isn't the best is it.
Lol
I just started the Riven Remake, and my summer holiday starts in a couple of days. I'm almost hoping for a rainy vacation here in Sweden😊
Yeah Myst 4 is dissapointing
Myst 5 was far worse. Boring puzzles and amateurish graphics. But yeah myst 1 to 3 were technically better than 4, but 3 and 4 are my favorites
How do you upload a video over 4 hrs long ? There use to be a video limit of 10 minutes now you can do 4+ hrs
