MYTHOS AND RUMORS:
"is said that The Wendigo was once a Dinohunt corp. hunter that was possessed by a supernatural force of the ancients during their hunting tour in Dry Nodus Lake. This curse would have turned them into an emaciated monster that, acting restlessly, would roam this area of the Arctic Sector in constant search of human flesh due to its insatiable appetite. The aforementioned supernatural force is believed to have created the wendigo to kill any intruders who ventured into the area, thus protecting the planet's Arctic sector."

@@Tormer kind of makes me think that when ever people try to do something in Fmm UV 32 either to hunt or exploit the environment for money something bad always happen. It's almost like the planet or some type of spirit is aware what's happening and is casing many of this event to happen, like in Fort Ciskin or in cityescape and etc.

@@mrdude73akapedroterramorei86 so you should download dgvoodoo2. Once downloaded, go to x86 folder, then look for glide2 file and place it in the mod directory. Then, try the mod to see if it works (now you can set 1280x1024 resolution and 3dfx glide in options, remember to set compatibility mode for Windows98 in the exe file before running mod).

Kinda expected the kill animation to have the Wendigo pounce on the hunter and eat him alive because wendigos are basically creatures with a unsatisfiable hunger

Yeah, well, the Wendigo doesn't come in the original game because it is an addon. That's why you won't see it in game directly.

Did you install it in Carnivores Modders Edition v1. 0.2? It works in that mod only.

@@cet262 first, get a clean carnivores ice age game. Then, download carnivores modders Edition v1. 0.2 and place its files into Carnivores ice age directory. Then, download dry nodus lake wendigo and place its files into carnivores ice age directory. You'll need to Replace every file if that question pops up.

Not going to lie, I felt is was bit of missed opportunity. Tough I do tend to prefer beastial quadrupedal Wendigos that feel less human and more animal. Maybe that's just because I enjoy too much speculative biology or just got tired of humanoid Wendigos. Oh well. Taste Buds are like finger prints.
I like the quadrupedal walk too. But i wanted to put both ways. So, Wendigo walks on two legs but it runs on four legs!
@@Tormer Like the Yeti. Fair enough. Still, would have loved a relationship with Megaloceros akin to Velociraptor and Gallimimus as sort of hinted at/implied in the reveal trailer.

I put two versions: map ambient version and menu version.
If you select the map ambient version, only one Wendigo will spawn exclusively in Dry Nodus Lake map. If you choose the menu version, many wendigos will spawn in any map.
