Forty was my fav. character this season. He deserved so much better. I hoped he would take care of Ellie after Delilahs dead and that they both would be their own little family. His death broke my heart.
Eh. He didn’t deserve to die but Forty is an ass with very few redeemable qualities. His parents messed him up but he’s an overgrown privileged child

@Spongebob The Confused Plank I think they mean for Quinn to be a big part of the problem. She really let him think he killed someone. And he died protecting her. I feel like if he didn't have that put on him only to find out it was his sister.
It's so sad he still carried so much guilt around with him on a person he didn't murder. :/
Yeah I think it was because he felt he drove his sister to kill like he knew someone was dead because of him even if it wasn't directly because of him.
Forty was the hest character, he had such a good arc, at first he seemed like an asshole but he slowly grew on me.
It's sad that he also considered a brother, it's sad that he had to find out who joe really was
He did though,but yeah he just kept getting burt,life is cruel

biggest disappointment is season 3 will have no forty. they can't give me a character that funny and then continue without him. they've peaked.
They could have him return as a figment of imagination or ghost like they did with beck but it won't be the same as having the real forty 😭

I started out disliking him and ended up loving him he deserved sm better
Melted my heart when Forty referred to Joe as family! I hoped he would have survived the circus that follows Joe.
I think the death of Forty is what made me hate Joe at the end of all of this. Like I never loved him, I thought he was crazy and interesting and stuff even though I knew he was crazy, but when everything with Forty happened I immediately felt sad and then anger towards Joe because it's his fault, Forty was trying to protect Love "You protect me, I protect you!"

hunty I blame Joe. Yes I love him because he is the main character but he tried to kill Candace. Imagine being in her shoes.
this is just heartbreaiking! You have projected Forty's character very well, he is my favorite at all. didn't deserve such an end to a great character that had a lot of potential, James Scully did a good job of representing this character. I would have liked to see him alive for a third season but hey ... Your edition is fantastic and perfect.
Forty didn’t deserve to die. He was really a good brother and was just trying his best. I loved his character and wish they kept him around.
Everyone literally hated Forty at the beginning.. now he's everyones favorite.. He's what happens when a person stays a victim all their life

I loved this. I really loved him too and it's so sad. I knew he would die but damn it hurts now. And I loved how their relationship was him and Love's when she said that about him in the description and how she took care of him in ep 3
Swear Billie knew got the script for season 2 early and wrote this song for Forty. This broke my heart

Am I the only one who doesn't hate Joe and Love? XD - that said I loved loved loved Forty. He was ... so much more complex than I thought he'd be. His death gutted me. This show has turned out to be so surprisingly deep and interesting. I was not expecting that going into it.
