Great video, and again I learned something new. I've been planning on hanging a horseshoe outside my shop. Strangely I haven't done so yet since I'm a hobbyist blacksmith. Keep up the great work.

Because they are made of iron. Elves can't abide iron.

Numerous sources have considered cold iron to be protective against magic.

A horseshoe above a doorway should have the points DOWN so as to sprinkle good luck on those walking through the doorway.

Always hang a horseshoe with the toe pointed down if the toe is pointed up the luck will run out.

Are you saying horseshoe point down is a better choice?

A minute and thirty second ad on a six minutes video? That's pretty much a fourth of the video.

A full 30% of your video is an ad. Not great. Hope you got paid well for it.

Honestly, I agree with you. Short videos like this will not have sponsors in the future. I apologize.

Uninformative, and just plain wrong. Horseshoes above smithies were always hung upside-down, symbolizing both magic entering the forge, and the assurance of a steady flow of paying customers.
