They are more concern about:
City buildings that have been hijacked by foreigners, in joburg and Kempton park, truck driving jobs that seem to go be going to foreign nation, retail jobs(mostly supermarkets) , restaurants jobs, nursing jobs(private sector) , teaching jobs(private sector) . All these are not special skills.The only reason foreign nationals are being preferred they are cheap labour with experience. Also the issue of illegal immigrants that ANC can't seem to get under control. These are issues that directly affect millions of South African who go out and vote for a better life in South Africans.
Foreigners serving as cheap labour while calling South Africans lazy are committing economic sabotage and undermine our labour market.This also includes any efforts that South African might be making toward implementing fair minimum wage policies in these industries. Herman Mashaba understands this very well, and this is why City of Joburg will keep supporting him.
Also foreign nationals posing as cheap labour delay the implementation of any efforts of industries to come up with programs that can help new graduates to enter the labour market. All this cheap labour going around is a distraction to couses and progress.

In the near future we need you to drive towards a biometric system for voting. Link IDs to the national finger print database and scanning of the barcode ID and programme a once off opportunity for individuals to vote. The voter turn out will improve.
Let's think further about alternative careers and job opportunities to be created in the future for the current voting process value chain. Can we not channel those resources to voter education campaigns, statistical analysis of community needs, assessing and scrutinizing value propositions of various political parties and the extent to which their manifestos solve the challenges of the people on the ground... I can think of endless ways we can create alternative employment channels. Let's not think the introduction of technology takes away jobs always.
