May I politely asked whether people, or any opponent of the current PP, has actually read the report. It is definitely not as clear cut as the media (enca) makes it out to be. SARS' own HR specialists, with specific skills in pension, advised the Commissioner and the then Minister of Finance, PG, that the approval of Ivan Pillay's early retirement and subsequent re-employment may put both the Commissioner and the Minister "in a tight spot". Ivan Pillay requested early retirement for no other reason than to access his pension money. He had no desire to retire nor relinquish his post as Deputy Commissioner of SARS (hence when he retired on 31 Dec 2010, he was immediately employed again on 01 Jan 2011 in the same position which is not common practice in the Public Service.). It is also noteworthy to state that months before Ivan's request, two other SARS officials had made similar requests for early retirement with full benefits, which was denied by PG. So the real question here is was PG correct in approving early retirement for Ivan Pillay because he wanted access to his pension money to pay for his children's education? Can I, as a public servant, resign today to access my pension money, but ask my employer to rehire me tomorrow once I have access to that money?

This is childish from Malema. What if Pravin's case against the PP is also maintained by the high court? What then? He has the right to challenge the report at the very least. And in this the weight of the EFF means nothing. It's up to the court. Just like Zuma had with the report against him, but the court found that report valid. The challenge to whether she is fit to hold the office is secondary from this issue. Anybody has the right to question that. Especially with her track record so far.

With due respect Juju please understand that any action to be taken against PG before the judicial review is handled will result in prejudice against the minister. No one is above the law so allow the court to vindicate the matter. For as long as the PP remedial action are binding does not mean the Prejudice in the process. What if the action against the minister is taken and than the court set aside her recommendations? What than in such a scenario?
