Dang, that's something. Alright I had a lot of fun playing with these notes for a minute and I want to talk about it. I could absolutely have some egregious mistakes in here, but here goes: The Chorus has that impressive high note ("gabbaana no"): it's a G. The lowest note of the song (if sung without jumping octaves, you showoff) is I believe heard at the end of the very first line (and probably elsewhere), and is a D#. So in his "middle" register in blue here, he sings from a low D#3 to a high G4. I believe that would be the range of the song if he never switched octaves. In his lower register in green, he dodges that low note (D#2 would be the domain of like operatic basses). I thiiink the lowest note he sings is actually an A#2 (and it's the first low note he sings, making the jump extra startling). That shows a full voice range of at least A#2 to G4, which is actually pretty comfy for a tenor, and doable for many baritones probably. I'd guess he's a tenor because he hits that G4 so casually I would bet he's got several notes above it, as well as maybe having a couple more notes below the A# but they might start sounding weaker. Now, the high high notes in pink are actually their own thing, because that's all in falsetto. He hits an impressive high note in his falsetto, a G5, and I don't think goes lower than a D#4. But damn, does he have a phenomenal sound and a full resonant note at every single place in the song. Like with that low register, it's not so much the notes rather but what an incredibly rich sound he has that's so impressive to me (I think he's also intentionally playing with his style between the blue and green registers to make it sound heavier like that). And hitting that falsetto G5 so solidly is not easy, or common. Then the speed at which he jumps between the styles without a slip really shows off that he knows exactly how to sing every part of his range, and these registers require big shifts in core muscle use, vocal tract shape, etc, ESPECIALLY when you're jumping in and out of falsetto.
Wow, I don't really have much knowledge about the techniques and technicalities in singing or music (I can't even read notes but I learn songs by listening lol) in general but that's a pretty thorough analysis.

Like it's not extremely rare, but it is like four whole steps above the top of your average male falsetto. I was speaking to a vocal physiologist friend of mine, and my read was off because my main point of reference was my own vocal range and I have a fairly high falsetto as well. Also I really want to hear more of his low notes he's got such a lovely sound down there.

Thank you for the advice! It was recorded with my android phone. It has a lower framerate when I record it at 1080p(the stream itself) for some reason. I'll try to follow your suggestion next time though! 😊
