What impresses me the most about this particular mixer is that it came out in 2012 if I'm not mistaken, yet Yamaha still sell it...! Considering that they discontinue a lot of products quite fast - which is natural for a corporation this size - the fact they still feature this mixer alongside the newer TF series means it still is an industry standard after all those years, which for a digital mixer, is really something else. My ideal mixer would be a blend between this and the infamous, short-lived N12, with control-room and transport sections, Darlington pres, built-in talk-back and USB-C connection. I'll buy that in a heart-beat!
