Trying to figure out with Blackmagic camera to buy is like a mathematical puzzle. The cinema 6K is full frame but worse off at 3200 iso than the pocket 6K. The Pyxis has the same sensor, great form factor but still has those challenges
Intentional of lighting is a fact. I have a love hate for mine as well specifically because it HATES not having enough light, when you have enough light if that makes sense. The sensor does not convert the analog signal worth a crap like My Sony A7 Rii does with even an F4 lens. BMC4k produces noise sooner even at the second floor of the ISO scale it looks weird and you have to denoise. My Rii Sony... NOPE, clear and crystal footage every time. Yes it forces you to shoot as a cinematographer too I'll give you that one. Can't beat it's price to quality ratio EVER though. Audio tip... lower your signal at the camera and raise it back in post and put a compressor and limiter at the audio channel. Basic and simple but effective so your audio is controlled.
Beautifully done! We've been debating whether we should replace our BMPCC4k with a FX3. You're making us reconsider this!
@@WurdMedia thanks brother great to hear! I envy anyone with an FX3 trust me
@@nourisardardpthx 🙏🏾👊🏾
Excellent video! It’s an absolute beast with a couple of weaknesses.
Thank you! Agreed
I once almost pulled the trigger on the Cinema 6K for the full frame sensor. It's unbeatable for the price but I'll wait until they release a gen 2

Hello
At 3m50s it’s the pocket 6k ? What is the lens on it ?
