Mario Party 3 - Chilly Waters [DK64 Soundfont] Version 2!

Just in time for Christmas (which is coincidentally when I first received Mario Party 3 in 2000), I wanted to rework my first DK64 Randomizer submission because this song deserves better than my clumsy early efforts. I took all kinds of stuff I've learned over the past 6 months, including stealing how Grant Kirkhope does that "twinkly" effect you hear near the beginning and later on again, as heard in Banjo-Kazooie. Compare to the original here: • Mario Party 3 - Chilly... (which I will delist soon) to see how much worse that one is lol... I completely left out some percussion lines back then because I couldn't get them working right!

This sounds like it would be the theme of an alternate Ice-level different from Crystal Caves that is far more Christmas-themed!

You can tell there's nothing actually Christmas themed in DK64 because the jingle bell is one of the things that's present in Banjo-Kazooie's soundfont but not DK64's. It's made my life harder in several different songs, but at least it's fun to get creative! What I've done here is a mix of cymbals, shakers and the clanking chain noise heard in the Creepy Castle dungeons.
