These soundfont remixes demonstrate to me how soundfont doesn’t really define the composer / composition. You tell me a song has the DK64 soundfont and I’m gonna immediately think it will have that iconic, bouncy Grant Kirkhope vibe and this does not have that. As someone familiar with the BK/BT/DK64 soundfont I barely even hear it in this

This kinda looks and sounds like a scene before a boss fight where, the opening of the game starts to suddenly play again...? Only that the Kongs now notice how Jr. Troopa is attempting to act as if was a member of the DK Crew.

This sounds like it would be the theme of an alternate Ice-level different from Crystal Caves that is far more Christmas-themed!

...There is something absolutely hilarious about how the "Kong" is written with the font of the Donkey Kong series.

Its kinda odd to listen to such a very heartwarming and kinda bittersweet song on the soundfont of DK64 whose style of music is more along the lines of adventure and comedy. ...Yet, this version somehow manages to feel right regardless!

Chunky's Story good stuff! this was one of my favorite pieces from Yoshi's Story

The edit of the Klaptraps replacing the Chain Chomps is hilarious! ...And now I am thinking of a version of DK64 where all of the luck-based Game Guy mini-games appear...

I can imagine this playing on some sort of alternate version of DK64 where Angry Aztec is replaced with a Wild West-style level!

It manages sound just as relaxing and calming as the original version! Though, slightly more "Adventure"-ish for lack of a better word.

All of these DK64-Themed image edits to go with the remixes are very nice! I think its hilarious how Puftoss replaces the Blooper, and the Happening Space would probably now have a far more dangerous effect of losing coins due to the spikes. ...I also wander if being catched by the giant mechanical fish means being temporarely stuck on some sort of mini-board. (To reflect how annoying it is to get the Golden Banana of the mechanical fish.)

The modified version of Creepy Castle makes it feel like this would be a theme of a sort of "Light"-version of the Castle that is no longer haunted!
