Yes. Plus there was constant talk of KD not lifting weights like a bodybuilder lol. A player as gifted as Victor isn't going to want to spend his career in the paint (which is why physical players like Sohan/Castle are so important in building around a talent like Victor). If playing a more face up perimeter game is his comfort zone/helps with longevity early in his career, so be it.
He keeps getting pushed out of the paint by wings. Defenses are try to give him the mid range.. If he can't get to the rim, 3 ball is next most valuable shot.
Not really because Wemby is a perimeter player and he would burn Shaq on offense by “Nutmeg” him or spinning around him.. or just shooting the deep shot. On defense Wemby would be more blocking Shaq’s shot and trying to steal the ball. Shaq would definitely own Wemby in the paint, but Wemby has blocks and shooting over Shaq along with everything else.
