I was thinking the same thing. Elvis got away with murder until his demons finally caught up to claim him.
Because there's a difference in Elvis dating an underage girl that he was later coerced into marrying, and Chuck being charged for bringing an underage girl across state lines to pimp her out in his club. Now, while I tend to believe that Chuck had no idea what the girl was up to, with other secrets about his sex life that have come out over the years, there's no way to really know the truth anymore. So while Chuck and Elvis are still two of my personal favorite musicians of all time, I still recognize that they both had dark sides, and did things that were absolutely terrible.

Undoubtedly, he was not flawless but he admitted what he did. Personally as far as for sleeping with an underage girl. Im glad he got caught and punished but the music/entertainment industry is full of stars who are guilty from Tyler Peryy to Jimmie Page to David Bowie etc who have had even younger encounters and yes Elvis too with no consequences. Im glad he changed. This type of behavior is beyond despicable no matter who you are and im not in favor of showing mercy to anyone willing/knowing being involved but at least this is a very distaturbing stain on his legacy but he was punished and it is small frys compared to the rest and likely wouldn't have even been punished if he were white at that time..

When i was barely 15 i dated a 22 year old guy. This was way back in the 80's and it wasn't quite the huge deal it is now.
I matured faster than most girls and in no way did he pressure me or manipulate me into anything. I actually broke up with him because he was too timid and shy and i was looking for a MAN.
Do i think most 14-15 year old girls fit that mold? No.
But i did
