This movie didn't get the stars from the public that the more traditional Allen movies but I personally thought it was a superb powerful work of disfunctanial relationships and family and personal problems of the human condition. Just great ❗
Woody Allen is such a genius! At age 82 he continues giving us art and brilliant films. Wonder Wheel is just a jewel. The music is nostalgic, the cinematography is brilliant, the story and feelings are really well written, and the performances are amazing (especially Kate Winslet and Jim Belushi). With a taste of "Radio Days", "A Streetcar Named Desire", and "Match Point", Wonder Wheel appears like a jewel in the middle of this cinema age of superheroes millionaire productions full of special effects but empty. Go see it today and enjoy this cute masterpiece! 10/10

Ginny character remind me of Jasmine from Blue Jasmine . Both actresses carried the role brilliantly.
They’re both very much like Blanche DuBois from Streetcar Named Desire, especially Jasmine. Yes, both movies and both actresses were great. I liked Ginny more, but I thought Cate Blanchett gave the better performance.
With all of his quirks and phobias neurotic behavior, and off the wall opinions, Woody Allen is the genius that makes him a legend.
