On big highways ive never ride my bike in the 1st or 2nd lane, too risky. Just stick in the left lane and you'll be fine

Doing road trip the whole peninsula Malaysia with small motorcycle is challenging, n quite dangerous too especially for tourists who not familiar with the roads. Glad u guys are safe 🙏 recommend u guys ride cruiser bike if u plan for road trip again, more comfortable tho 👌
yeah..true. road accident in mlysia is among the highest in Asean..not to mention involving bikes.. so the best way is not to ride at high speed..on highway 100 - 110km per hour maybe considered a bit fast already..

Just imagine the driving conditions in the UK and think it could be a lot worse.
that bike is very popular in malaysia we call it 'y suku'. even i have that bike i cannot do like u all do. big respect bro to travel almost all place in peninsular malaysia. maybe u can try ride in borneo or east malaysia (form kuching, sarawak to tawau,sabah) u might enter Brunei too along the way.
we would love to do that one day
Next time if you visit Malaysia again, make sure you come to visit Taiping in Perak. One of the oldest town in Malaysia before KL. There's also a lot of local food you should try.

The beauty of having couples doing road trip especially on the bike is to get a moment to put away the smartphones and other works, just the two persons getting together, leaning on each other, talking to each other, dealing with challenges together, as well as enjoying the scenery and fun moment together more.
