Man I spent hours trying to figure out why the timing marks did not line up after I ran the motor through a bunch of times. Thank you for your comment that said timing marks on chain are for initial installation only. Thank you!!!!
nice work! im building a high compression NA 1nzfe with 1nzfxe pistons and needed some rehearsal for the timing chain, you are by far the best at showing it. 2 thumbs up!
I have a random p0016, what I have done is camshaft sensor, crankshafts sensor, vvt valve replace, when erase the p0016 I need to drive the car about 10 to 20 miles for the code come back any suggestion, thank is advance
Mine came in the full engine gasket set from the dealer. I learned later I could have got the gasket set from Amayama or Partsouq for less but oh well.
@@llesmajeursmaj2279 He probably either went with CP Carrillo's or Arias. Carillo's go to 0.5mm over to 75.5mm bore. With a choice of either 9.0:1 compression ratio or 11.5:1 compression ratio. The Arias pistons go .06mm over to 75.06mm or .5mm over to 75.5mm with options of either 9.0:1 C.R., or 12.0:1 C.R. Both are found on the CP Carrillo website. Well, the catalogs are, at least.
How much do you mean by a little off? It should line up perfect because the timing chain links are painted and the tooth should go right in between the color coded link. Any slack should be guided over to the tensioner as you put the chain on and then the tensioner takes up the slack.
@MakeItMike yea i did all that but it was when i was thightning the Bolt for crankshaft it moved the bottom a little and when cranshaft is alinged the bottom isnt completly on 0 mark
Very nice job! Nicely done and very meticulous and well explained. But i can't find part #8 . Have you not done that part yet ? . Thanks

Yo question when y had the cams pefectly alinged was it on cero on the bottom with timing cover

Thanks a lot for this videos, and others, i can imagine that i will show them too!
Thans for your work
Aligning the oil pump is difficult but you made it look easy!
I did several dry fit practice rounds.
@@MakeItMike did you cut the nozzle of the sealant at the first or second notch

Thanks for sharing.

I really need to know if the car timing has to be on 0 perfectly or can it be a little off

Thanks for doing my question!
What ever happened to the seat swap
???? No gasket behind the water pump plate . I just wandering ?
There is a gasket. It's a metal one
so , what you are saying is to disregard the FSM ??
What do you mean?
Nice 👍240k on mine runs like a Swiss watch.
Where is the EGR valve???
Because VVT engines are a little more efficient they don't give them an egr system. At least this is the case with the 1nzfe.
@@MakeItMike Thanks!!!
Great work 🎉
I don’t realize it’s an interference motor
Grazie mille mi hai aiutato 👌
