my immediate family went through some rough times from 2009 to 2015. One of the biggest things after loosing my mother in 2011, I feel being my father and I were alone and him having alot of physical health problems. Sandy did us alot of damage in many ways, then the snow storm that followed If I remember correctly shortly after. I am still recovering finding out about how my childhood disabilities affected me and how I can help myself in the present to fight my way in the present and future for an independent life (I am not good in groups) I really need an apartment of my own and a car ( mine was sold, we didn't realize I could keep it). So if anyone knows of a way to get these things and keep them for my low income(I am in the process of training for volunteering or part time work) I would welcome the input.

Pretty Powerful. I shot a video about the results of this super storm in my own neighborhood. Just search "Hurricane Sandy-Eagle Estates". My footage is under the title, "The Aftermath of hurricane Sandy". The images are described in one word to me. WOW!

If the maker of this upload is from long Island and a victim of Sandy then I hope he/she makes a lot of money from any adverts to help them back on their feet. I hope he/she and others hit by Sandy get a lot of sponsors to aid them financially. Despite President Obamas promise of cutting red tape (which I believe), we all know how anally forensic insurance companies can be when dealing with claims. Also, alas, some folks cant afford insurance.

Called lipa because I got no power still kept me on hold I told them no power or heat the lipa person said to have sex to keep warm very rude

in my previous comment I mentioned the hardship my family suffered and how superstorm Sandy contributed. But I also wanted to comment here on lipa. We had 2 issues 1) my father squared up with them, even though we had proof in the attic that we found after we had to get ready to sell the house after my mothers death (the bill that lipa(originally lilco, that every month was on the bill, outstanding charge, we lived there 30 something years and he took care of it, he didn't have to) in 2009 we were going to convert to gas for to heat our house. My father in order to keep the house from the exorbitant taxes from Brookhaven town and his medical that Grumman said world never go up, it did. the gas company that worked for pse&g) argued with my father for every few things causing him to be stressed out and have a heart attack, witch was the start of his demise). I am not saying that this was the only thing but it played a big part the things he were telling them that were included, in fact were, but the representative that yelled at him was in fact wrong. He only wanted to lower his bills and help himself and his family.
