    How does this work when you are going through Perimenopause and your hormones are fluctuating on a daily basis? Taking HRT could swing hormone levels too high. How are hormone levels and dosages dealt with during this transitional time?

    I had Testosterone pellets done ones. And that was it for me. It dhoot my Testosterone so high that my Hashimoto antibodies elevated drastically as well. I've had symptoms so I could tell that it must of been pellets, as I got a blood work done immidiatly for both Testosterone and TPo. Plus the surgical site waa so tender for the next 6 or so months. Never again.

      Glad you brought this up. I was surprised when I recently discovered I had high cholesterol and insulin resistance. I see my doctor and specialists regularly, and this was news to me. Check BRIA Ontario - it’s virtual clinic. You need to pay around 600 dollar for the RN to prescribe HRT.

    I started HRT in March of 2024. So, nearly six months on, I feel they have finally kicked in - sexually. The problem is: I want to have sex everday - maybe several times a day! However, the urge to have sex is there, but it hurts to have intercourse because there is not a lot of self lubrication. Buying all these extra lubricants that really don't work that great can be expensive. So the urge to have sex with my husband is great, but it's somewhat painful. Plus, I need to put him on male hormones too because he can get hard, but not like he used to. Ugh, the joys of sex when you're old. LOL Both my husband and I are in our early 60's.

    • @spitfirekid1
      @spitfirekid1 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ i’m sorry for your situation. Sex as an expression of love is so valuable to our well-being. Are you on vaginal estrogen cream? That greatly helped my wife with lubrication and took the pain away. We are both in our 60’s.
      Orgasm has a lot of health benefits that shouldn’t be overlooked. If that has to happen as a result of a solo effort I suggest you do what you need to do to get those benefits. There is a product called “succulent” by a company called COSARA that should do the trick in just a matter of minutes with great results. Take care of yourself and don’t feel guilty!
      Investigating whether your husband has low testosterone is a great idea. If his testosterone is less than 300 getting your husband on TRT is a great idea. It will benefit him greatly in many ways beyond quality of erections. Also, he could talk to a sex therapist about changing positions so he does not experience pain with his hip.
      Good luck to you both!

I started HRT 4 weeks ago, and within 48 hours my tinnitus got louder and became continuous, instead of off and on as it has been for a year.
