I always end up getting the IKON pass because it is just better in the West. If I lived in Colorado then I could see both making sense but for me the Epic makes no sense.
We’ve got the epic pass the last two years but we got Ikon this year because we’re going to Big Sky and possibly Steamboat. Plus, we go to Snowshoe a couple times a year also
living in phx there's no local epic/ikon hill. so i do two years ikon then one year epic. epic has the more girlfriend friendly resorts. (easy fly in and drive to the mountain, stay on mountain or in town close by, restaurants, shops, picturesque and other non ski/riding things to do.) i personally prefer ikon for the long season at mammoth, cheap weeks long solo stays in utah and steamboat (best overall town/mountain destination in the US). imo of course.
I got out to Vail just before Xmas from Michigan. Thinking about trying Telluride in late February. Want to make the most of my Epic Pass so I can get the IKON next year.
If I lived in Colorado I'd get the IKON, hands down, plus I've skied many of the Epic resorts already. Also, it's certainly a different pass, but the Indy is gaining steam.
Oh, all the cool kids are doing the ikon pass. Thanks. Maybe actually go over what's in them next time, like the title says? I came here for info, not to be told how vibey ikon is vs the stinkey poor people's epic
It’s not a great deal. It’s gotten insanely expensive. How about if you can show your Colorado birth certificate you get a decent rate and all the transient tech bros can pay the new transient tech bro prices?

It's a tough choice but i prefer the Ikon resorts. Especially since you're almost always guaranteed some summer riding at Mammoth for a longer season.
Yewww

Just picked up my 4 day epic pass yesterday for a guys trip to Frisco in January. Thinking we may try to do 4 mountains in 4 days.
Very helpful! Looking for this information. Hopefully I can afford a pass this season! Cheers everyone
As a Utahn the Ikon pass is a no brainer with Snowbasin, solitude, brighton, snowbird, alta, and deer valley and the epic pass only has park city
Yooo
utahn my new favorite word lmao
@@blubberpupper8521 lmao fr it’s so great
Epic Military Veteran pass is such a great deal! Can't wait to shred this season! Hope to see you out there brother!
Right it's a steal. I want to move to hill AFB just so I can use it at park city more. I wish Jackson hole and sun valley was on epic pass though
Love to see you making ski/snowboarding videos! It means its almost time for skiing/snowboarding!
Yes 🙌🏼

I live in steamboat. If you come on a powder day you won’t regret it
I’ll say tho the epic pass military for 165 is an amazing deal. I ski Colorado and Vermont mainly and it’s been wonderful.
The value on the military pass is nuts though!
Even the $500ish cost for a Vet that Epic charges is a ripping deal. I bought it this year along with my 2 kids as dependents.
Only reason I’m still using Epic haha

I honestly prefer Utah, so Ikon is an absolute steal for the Cottonwood canyons alone. throw in Jackson hole and I dont think I would ever switch

When will you know for sure your schedule for 2023-24 season resorts?

Heck yeah!
Thanks for the help

Being from Michigan makes my choice much easier lolol
Under $300 all days all season, at least it's cheap!
When you ride Caberfae Peaks I'll be sure to say Hi
Yes!
