Chris Nilan I can't begin to thank you enough for sharing. Im from Vancouver originally and spent time all over Canada, lived in each of the markets except for Winnipeg eff that been there once no thanks. People don't get being a Habs fan and a Boston fan but simply put it was the best hockey played and the best hockey to watch for decades. Now that that is out of the way... What a pleasure to see Dougie Risebrough on and that Marty story oh my goodness. lol What a beaut! Thanks eh! All the Best
Fantastic interview with Riser, I remember those 4 cups in a row, what a great gritty line with him Lambert and Tremblay, hated to see him traded to Calgary, I even bought a Flames jersey to show how pissed off I was, great to find out about your connection with him and of course the stories, and the best was him slicing up McSorley's jersey, a great listen, thanks Knuckles.
Great stuff. People forget the heart and soul players of the dynasty & our so-called 4th line, easily the best 4th line in history in the days when checking lines were considered 3rd lines. And they’d probably be the best 3rd line in history too.
I was at the Stanley cup parade in 1977 as a 16 year old and Doug graciously shook my hand as his vehicle drove by. The other players would waive at the crowd so Doug's gesture was a big thing for me back then.
Hey Chris, what’s going on? Why the switch to the sick podcast? But more so where is Tim? We love you, Chris, but man we need Tim Tim just has a special piece to your podcast. Makes it ultra entertaining as opposed to just entertaining. So that’s the question. Where is Tim? Will you have him back?
About half of the 8 losses were on back to backs on the road. I checked a while back. I don't think they had their own plane. Maybe it would have helped.
Hey cut Toronto management some slack, it's about the only time they came out ahead in my lifetime. Could be worse, how about Russ Courtnal for John Kordic lol
I used to love watching Doug play hockey,he played with a lot of heart❤️❤️
I love watching this podcast and seeing all these players that I grew up watching and have not seen for years.
I'll stay subscribed for another couple of weeks just to see if Tim is still part of it. His sense of humour made this podcast

Frm Calgary. Risebrough was loved here. Great in '86 playoffs.
Love your Guest's Chris, keep it up, bring back asany of the older guys that played in your ERA
Always loved Riserbrough. Tough as nails. ❤❤

Awesome interview Knuckles; 70s Habs were my team :)
Great interview. Where is Tim?
More like where’s the Raw knuckles podcast? It’s been a while. Hope everything is ok. The stick is a good pod, but Tim made raw knuckles better!
Love those stories back when it was great hockey to watch.
I used to really enjoy the Risebrough, Tremblay and Lambert line. If a change of momentum is required, yup.
Grew up watching these guys in the 70s best hockey team I’ve ever seen think about wins and losses thats an incredible record

Always loved Number 8, I remember when he and Mario started with Montreal.I like your new intro too. Welcome.
Risebrough, Tremblay, Lambert. What a line.
Doug was a stud, fearless! Could stick the odd one in the net too.
The best of Brantford Ontario right there. Doug was first. Nice to see him
Grew up in Montreal - hated the habs - always loved
Doug Risebrough

Is Tim still on the Pod
He played the game with grit and heart. Like knuckles
Why did you fire Tim?
Tim is gone? RA gone from chiclets 😢
Been wondering the same thing. Was hoping for an answer on here.
Tim is not the right fit for Knuckles. He needs a better line mate.
Tim really brings nothing to the podcast.
Is he gone forever?
It's OK if others don't miss Tim but I'm free to miss him.
Good player

Imagine Risebrough and Nilan on a line with John Ferguson at left wing... or Bert Olmstead!
I don't think that Calgary Flames fans will EVER forgive Doug Risebrough for trading Doug Gilmour to the Leafs for Gary Leeman. 😑

Doug Risebrough, loved that hockey player when i was a kid.
Great interview once again Chris
Wheres Tim?
Nice skater
Where's Tim ?
But Ruel had Lafleur and LeMaire.
cringe podcast network
Doug was a big piece in the wheel of that dynasty Habs team..loved him alot on those teams
