Again Chris, you are making a good difference in this world. Bringing Clint Malarchuk on your show is a great move. Stay well to both you and Clint! 👍
This really hits home. I lost my only brother to suicide by gunshot due to his suffering from CTE 7/13/2017. He suffered from a traumatic brain injury in 1977 that was called a “concussion” back then. It’s something I’ll never get over. But talking about this helps, so thank you.
great interview , so much honesty about mental illness thanks Mr Malarchuk and Mr Knukles Nilan .
My wife sent Clint a get-well card after the Buffalo skate cut incident. A couple of weeks later, she gets a manila envelope in the mail with an autographed 8x10 glossy "thank you" portrait. What a guy!
Good to see you, Mr Malarchuk. Thanks for sharing your life experience. Courageous man !
Great show Chris, I hope TSN are kicking themselves for letting you go. You have out grown them. Could you sometimes ask what your guests are doing now, work, still in hockey, business they might own ect. Thanks, good to see you in a Good Place
Thank you to both of you for this video. As someone with OCD, depression, trauma, this all is familiar to me, thank god we have therapy and meds. I have begun to heal too. There is strength in admitting you are struggling and seeking help. Love seeing you both doing so well, gives me hope on my own journey. You are both inspirational. Warriors. Have a good holiday. Cheers Knuckles from Haverhill Ma. 😊👍🏻
He is right. This is the very best hockey show and no one else is even close. Nilan has the guys we want to hear from. Thank you Chris.
Such a strong discussion! I've had a tough couple of years, never realized how deep down I could go until, like you said Chris, I was curled up in a ball, crying uncontrollably. Luckily, I had great friends and fellow first responders convince me, reluctantly, to get help. Thank you both so much for getting the
reality out there!
This has to be the best hockey podcast out there. Chris is amazing and his guests are riveting. Keep up the great work.
Chris Nilan reminds me of guys from my old predominantly Irish neighborhood in Montreal: tough, tough neighborhood!
What ? I can't believe he managed to get Clint Malarchuk on his show. What a nice surprise ! Thanks, Chris. As always you continue to surprise us with some really wonderful guests.
Great interview Knuckles!
It’s so good to see you Mr. Malarchuk. You are truly an inspiration to many.
Great show Chris, thanks much.
"when we get out out of ourselves" lollll we need to do that every now and then
A great interview! Clint has an amazing and inspiring life story.
Great episode guys, thank you.
Wow!
The honesty and courage these guys are talking about and showing is amazing ..keep it up it is inspiring -You guys should do it on a regular basis you are more helpful than counselling
I remember your injury like it was yesterday Mr Malarchuk. My heart goes out to you and your honesty in what you have endured will be an inspiration to many. G-D Bless.
Listening to Clint's story is giving me the shivers. Pro sport isn't always fun and games.
Great chat!
Chris Nilan is such a cool guy.
Clint too!
What has happened to Tim? I love your podcast
The Eagle's Healing Nest, what a great idea. Who better to help athletes than athletes.
Clint doing a great job working with Barry Beck´s foundation too...
thats weird i was just thinking of him the other day
I’m going thru the same stuff, it’s difficult you have no idea how these discussions help
stay strong man, you're not alone and never be afraid/ashamed to reach out for help where you live!
Tim disappeared
Apparently, according to JRE, there are treatments with hallucinogenic that have shown excellent results for the treatment of PTSD.
Does knucks have to re-interview everyone for the sick podcast banner?
This is why we need to make sure we repent and follow Christ now, because you never know when your number is up.
I follow Chris Nilan
