volumetric audio makes it so sound plays from the whole part it's playing from, not one point. So if you have a massive cube it will play the sound from the cube not the center of it.
Thank you so much for this tutorial, this explained a lot. If you want to see everything in the workspace (like hidden services and other things hidden by default) you can actually go to your studio settings and scroll all the way down to the bottom of the "Studio" settings to find something like "show hidden properties in workspace" or something like that. I'm not 100% sure since I am not on my computer right now. I hope this helps if you would like to make a more detailed tutorial like this with scripts firing game services since this setting will make everything visible. Thanks again for this amazing tutorial!
List of main services and explanations (Correct me if there's something wrong) Workspace: anything that's visible (parts, models, rigs) Players: list of players and their assets Lightning: list of lightning shaders (for camera and enviroment) MaterialService: list of every material NetworkClient: tells the game whether the client is connected to the server or not ReplicatedFirst: replicates whatever is inside of it to every player who's playing the game before ReplicatedStorage ReplicatedStorage: replicates whatever is inside of it to every player who's playing the game ServerScriptService: works only with server scripts ServerStorage: same as the ReplicatedStorage but not for clients StarterGui: displays the gui content to players' screen StarterPack: displays the tools content to players' screen StarterPlayer: applies the scripts to every player Teams: creates the teams tabs in leaderboard SoundService: stores the sounds that cannot be accessed by ServerScriptService TextChatService: list of properties for modifying the text chat system
And how long have we even begging for a voice chat API? Wouldn’t it be awesome if you could mess around with Voice Chat? Imagine a drive thru where you can hear the other person’s voice through the speaker. Or even talking to people on the other side of the map, or even better, in other servers or games.
why did you say cheaters can read scripts in workspace? they can only read client sided scripts and if they try to read client scripts its a mess and very hard to read and understand anyway
@@AvaluggEnjoyer420 alright i looked it over and you were right. the forums that said the client could read serverscripts were referencing some very advanced exploit plugin and not the actual game, thats on me

ClockTime changes the position of the sun. It doesn't make a day/night cycle. You have to script that yourself by iterating on the ClockTime value.
True, I’m just used to one skybox where the sun under the map and makes it dark lol
Really?😂 lol
@@byteblox100 thats probably better i want to maybe make a script so when it turns night time it changes sky box to milkyway

I've been wanting this for ages! I really hope they add this, as being able to create a phone system or a microphone system would be sooooo cool!
Imagine a tycoon where you have to scream to get cash lmao

I feel like services are specialized made groups of effects that were arbitrarily made. But once you get the hang of them you can work around them.
Yeah it does suck because they don’t really have any patterns to them

Cheaters can read anything that isn’t inside a server service, even if it’s a server script
do you have brain damage. or have you just never used an exploit before?@@byteblox100
why would i exploit lmao. i just know how the studio works
@@byteblox100 you clearly dont know it well enough if you dont know basic information such as the client not being able to read server scripts
