well in case you dont know... Francisco Araiza is one of the best mozart tenors in the world and of all times... and this aria fits his voice so nice as well.
STUNNING!!! it is incredible how easily he hits de top notes without losing the colour of the voice. He deserves to be among the greatest singers of history. Bravo FRANCISCO ARAIZA!!!!
I discovered this beautiful voice when I was 14 and have never found another Rossini tenor who can match him in phrasing or warmth... technically perfect
It could not have been said any better.. . .. A "masterclass" of some of the finest singing of all time. Bravo Francisco. You ALWAYS did show the rest of us how it was done !
What a voice! And his acting is actually very realistic and not overdone, as is (unfortunately) common in some opera singers or productions, in any way. He really is wonderful. :D
Araiza IS better than Florez. I'd imagine everyone will agree with you there. And Araiza could sing ANYTHING - best Mozartian tenor since Wunderlich, best Rossinian tenor in recorded history, and he could sing Wagner too, well enough to put many today's Wagnerian tenors to shame. Check out also Ramon Vargas - also a Mexican tenor and among the best in the world today. Not Araiza, but fuller voice than Florez.
I have the whole DVD so I will rip the aria and post it for you! soon you will see it here, you can subscribe to my videos so you will get a notice whenever I upload it
yes and better but this is good. liten to juan diego florez or ramon vargas or...i dont like rockwell blakes voice but he has amazing technique. My absolute favorit is Lawrence Brownlee but Vargas sings it with balls using correct technique
What they are saying is the truth. Flores has such a small voice it is ridiculous he became so famous because of recordings. It is very disappointing when someone hears him live. Usually I don´t say that kind of things but unfortunately it is the truth.
Totally agree with you... I think the best techinque of famous latin tenors Araiza is teh owner. Shame he was seduced by the dark side of the force for heavy roles. The core of the sound you mentioned is the use of the body, that is the support and gives the color of the voice in the old singers techinque... this kind of breath emition is no longer tought!Juan deigo is a good artist...but have no "core"!
You think? I find his version to be the perfect medium betwen JDF and someone like Javier Camarena. Florez nailed every note but his coloratura kind of blended together a bit much, whereas Camarena stuck a butchers knife of breath between every single note - amazing skill, but doesn't sound as good. Maestro Araiza seperates them just enough, without at all going overboard, all while keeping his baritone-like warmth. Pretty amazing imo.
It doesn´t have anything to do with having a strong voice. It has to do with really carrying to perform whatever a singer has to do in a piece. Unfortunately for him he has three dinamics; Mezza di voce, mezza di voce and mezza di voce. And is very boring. If for that Im considered a "bad valuer" according to you... then with pleasure.
well in case you dont know... Francisco Araiza is one of the best mozart tenors in the world and of all times... and this aria fits his voice so nice as well.
STUNNING!!!

Bravo FRANCISCO ARAIZA!!!!
I discovered this beautiful voice when I was 14 and have never found another Rossini tenor who can match him in phrasing or warmth... technically perfect
Certainly a masterclass of singing. Bravo Araiza y muchas gracias Fuiga.
BRRRAAAAAAVOOOOO !!!! What a wonderful and beautiful voice. One of the great Tenors of our time.
It could not have been said any better.. . .. A "masterclass" of some of the finest singing of all time. Bravo Francisco. You ALWAYS did show the rest of us how it was done !

This is just fantastic...I fully agree with the posters sentiments that this is a 'masterclass of singing'. Wonderful!
What a voice! And his acting is actually very realistic and not overdone, as is (unfortunately) common in some opera singers or productions, in any way. He really is wonderful. :D
BRAVOOOO!!!!!, realmente maravilloso tenor es Francisco Araiza!!!
Maravillosa interpretación, me encanta, bravo maestro Araiza!
pure gold!!
This is marvelous!! What a wonderful singer...such a beautiful voice and secure technique.
That was stunning. Well sung!
Maestro Araiza is amazing!!
hey... My pleasure!! I hope you enjoy him, he is one of the best tenors and he is Mexican, he is great!
Bravo Maestro !!!
Bravo! There is no better Ramiro than Araiza. Fioratura with balls!
I love Araiza...he sung the leggiero rep with balls!!
beautiful!!!!!
Wonderful!
FABULOSO !!!! BRAVO
I agree, Juan Diego Florez is cute as Ramiro, but he doesn't have the fire, the balls, the virility of Araiza...I love this man, he is so fabulous.
Bravo maestro
Bravo!
Genius!
Araiza here is simply marvelous!
He is not a tenor, he is a man with a high voice (like used to say Caruso). Just great, the best Rossini singer of all times!
What a great performance! Such a warm and even "meaty" sound but so flexible and agile! I may begin to prefer him even to Juan Diego! Araiza ROCKS!
Super
i think im in love.....with his voice.
By the way, here at youtube there are some videos of a baritone Nelson Matinez... he have the CORE of the voice ... is great!
Cenerentola in this particular production was Ann Murray, and it is a very worthy production in general... all the singers are a great treat
Great technique! A real voice lesson not to open the mouth too much when singing the high notes!
GENIUS!! BRAVO ARAIZA!
una voz prodigiosa con una tecnica exquisita

escucha a Javier camarena :)
absolutly Bravo!
i love how the chorus members preen everytime he hits the C. ha!
VIVA MEXICO! I'm a huge fan of Juan Diego, but I think this guy is better. I'm not just saying that as a fellow Mexican, but purely as an opera fan.
so as someone who got into opera recently, can anyone today actually sing rossini this well?
Not much unfortunately
WOOOOW...:D:D:D
now thats how it should be done...:D:D:D
Marvellous, the perfect Ramiro

Very true. If only he'd have been a little younger...
Hell YEAH!!!!

My God, his voice is soo beautiful but the aspirated coloratura is a bit annoying imo

bastante mal diria yo =) mi humilde opinion
