- Cloudways Autonomous is a new hosting option that makes it incredibly easy to make scale your hosting plan automatically.
When you have traffic spikes, the last thing you need is for your site to go offline or to manually adjust your hosting to cater for those traffic surges.
This is where Cloudways Autonomous makes it easy - You can rest assured that any traffic spikes are taken care of automatically and giving you peace of mind that your site will stay online 24/7.

Hmm. There must be some hard limits. What happened if someone DDoS website and that attack bypass Cloudflare. Who will be then responsible for paying traffic overages? 1$/10GB is outrageous when Digital Oceans extra GB is 0.01$. That's 900% markup. Just be careful with overages. If it can scale infinitely so your monthly bill.
BTW, I'm on Cloudways Autonomous now.
I like that theyre embracing Kubernetes as a solution (As we are as well), but their pricing is way off.... a single site with 100k visit a month would be $105 per month and that doesnt take bandwidth into the mix. I hope these prices fall... a lot! Great vid as always pal.
Great overview mate, and I love the concept, however, I have to agree with others regarding the pricing and limits etc. It's a very expensive solution that doesn't give you much as a foundation to begin with, then such an incremental premium for the scaling. Then there's the question of what if someone tries to DDoS and you end up being charged as a spike in traffic.
I had a good laugh when I saw the included bandwidth. Are we back to 2005? Way to expensive.
Yep. Unfortunatelly. Also they don't have mechanisms to protect end users from overages. Not even terms of service stating what happened if...
this could be a great solution for WordPress based e-commerce websites
You think this would be good to run mainwp on or is it overkill?
Cloudflare Enterprise Add-on is also awesome. And New relic
Nice concept, but paying per unique visits is insane. Included bandwidth for that price is super expensive, disk space is low. With these prices, why not just get a dedicated server.
I will pass on this 😅
Something like Kinsta and WP Engine?
