I agree with all commenters, the bike is gorgeous! Would anyone like to offer an explanation of the weird steering tube design? It appears to provide two locations for the front end, a short or long wheelbase (0:40, 1:11, 3:07).
After Agostini, the bike was taken over by Phil Read ... who is much taller than Agostini. As the complete motorcycle is tailored according to Agostini, this is a "solution" that was created overnight out of sheer desperation and dire need.
@@goran2003 That would appear to make sense, it looks like a modification that might have been knocked out in a day! The 'Ago' position, with the same bars as we see here, looks like it would have offered about 20° of steering!!
Now picture an engine with 1/3 of the displacement and 5 cylinders. ....yes that's the Honde RC 149 with 125 ccm and mind blowing 270 horsepowers per liter.
That's the real sound of a race bike.
Saw Ago practice that 6 pot at brands hatch ... SOUNDED FKN. AWESOME ! ... he used the 3 cyl. bike in the race , ... HE WON !
Three, four, six ... have a good time watching!

Just try and imagine how fast those 58cc pistons are moving 😱!
Lets hear it idle!..
It would probably foul its plugs if left to idle.
Italian motorcycle art at its finest but the Japanese with the Honda RC 166 is also a dream.
Grüße vom Wörthersee mein Freund Goran nach Zagreb.
Servus Christian! Have a good time!
Endlich sieht man die Oldies nicht nur Warmlaufen, sondern auch mal fahren.

Bernd Wagner, gentleman from Austria ... as far as I know.
Cheers David!
Ruidoso? Será musica celestial.
Yes ... gentle celestial music.
Cheers!
Quel pilote a couru sur cette MV.
Due to changes in the FIM regulations, this bike didn't really enjoy racing...
Cheers Bertrand!
